We arrived to a very unorganised reception,on departure to unhelpful staff. Our room was cosy and clean but we were right next to the main road with people walking by using profanity loudly till early hours of the morning .The restaurant served lovely food like snoek and patat. Breakfast was good ...with lovely sea views.

We found this Lodge with exceptionally friendliness and professional service! The staff is very well trained and was a welcoming change of what we experienced at a previous 4 star B&B that evening. The rooms is very spacious and clean. We had a great evening!

To start off I think its important to state that Paternoster is situated within a rural area...having said that...We arrived on the 1st of January...BIG MISTAKE...We drove into a crowd of drunken people that was loud, rude, messing all over the place and doing as they please. When we arrived at our Lodge...there was no parking for the guests seeing... More

Since very few restaurants were open, we went tonthis place with low expectations. But what a surprise! Yummi crayfish, the corresponding cuttlery without specifically asking for it. Friendly staff. Wanted to return nex day, however there was no crayfish.

We had our wedding at Paternoster Lodge on the 14th of Feb( Valentines Day ) this year and what a disaster! After weeks of struggling to get a response from them on the finer details of our wedding they got our food wrong on the evening even after confirming it on email! My guests were treated badly and Glenda the... More

My husband and I got married at the Paternoster Lodge in Paternoster, Western Cape on 14 December 2013. We are not from the Cape so we had a weekend wedding and most of our guests came from around the country. We also stayed at the lodge for the weekend. The Paternoster Lodge is the most amazing venue you can choose... More

The service has been fantastic whilst the food was good value for money. Although there was no crayfish the platter was well presented. Whilst there are a few other restaraunts with amazing arrogance we will always come back to this eatery The view is probably the best here in Paternoster

Clean comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated with a good view of the beach. If you go down early in the morning , you can watch the fisherman bringing in their catch. Sleeper couch was made up for our toddler. Friendliest staff, jovial room service. Avoid suites 1-3 as it opens up onto the restaurants patio and lacks privacy and can get... More
