The Dunes Ridge Cottage was beautifully decorated, with a crackling inside log fire, with a relaxing sea view bath and shower, stylish kitchen, comfortable bed, elegant linen and a warm duvet, Flat... We had a wonderful stay at the Paternoster Dunes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. The view from the dining room is the very best! The staff were extremely helpful attending to our every need and request. They even made dinner reservations for us. I would especially like to mention Kwanda, Keithlin and Gavin for... More

Gavin was so kind and took the initiative to arrange dinner bookings for us without any request, which was perfect as we were not familiar with the area and it was long weekend. They pay attention to detail which we love and will certainly return again.

Very nicely appointed room leading directly onto the beach. Had to wait an hour before room was available (13:00). Good breakfast, host Gavin kindly booked us a table at The Noisy Oyster restaurant which was excellent.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Paternoster Dunes Guest House. We stayed in the Rose Room which was lovely. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the enclosed dining patio was heavenly. Direct access to a beautfiul beach from our room. We will definitely be back!

You are cosseted at this delightful gem of a guest house. The attention to detail is remarkable -- throughout the place little objects strike the eye - and a mirror next to a plug for the hair dryer is particularly thoughtful. Would that other hotels think of this! The breakfasts are imaginative and different each day. And the rooms are... More

Had an enjoyable stay over Easter weekend.Would definitely visit Duintjie again. The view was good-had a bird's eye view of everything happening around us.On the downside I would recommend more modern/comfortable furniture in the living room, otherwise everything was fine.
