We stayed here for 1 night and decided to upgrade to an executive room which in our opinion was well worth it. The room was very spacious and clean along with a good size and modern bathroom and nice views over hotels grounds. Our check in was efficient and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The lounge areas were... More

There is no denying the Petwood is a beautiful and historic venue. Unfortunately the bedrooms do not come up to the same high standards as the rest of the hotel. We stayed last year in a tired and dated room and again were directed to a similar state of room 221 this year. The carpet was stained and had not... More

I had booked a one night stay at The Petwood Hotel as a surprise night away for my other half. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. The views from the room were a nice touch too. The staff were all very friendly and the food served here was excellent. I also want to say a big... More

We stayed at the Petwood for a weekend. On arrival, we found we had been upgraded, which we were happy about: we had a fourposter room which was very spacious. There were two little niggles: the lights weren't well positioned for reading, and there were slightly too few plugs (for phone charging etc). But neither of these had a great... More

Beautifully set in its own grounds the Petwood holds its memories with grace. Whilst the original building dates from 1905, substantial additions and use as the Officers Mess for 617 "The Dambusters" Sqn during the war merely add to its charm. In fact they still fly the RAF ensign. Lounges are comfortable with large open log fires, staff are cheerful... More

we attended my boyfriends works Christmas party here, we decided to stay over. At very short notice, the staff were very helpful and so nice. The room was perfect. The breakfast was really nice too. We could not find a fault with this hotel. We would stay here again.
