Our 3rd visit and each time is better than the last if that's possible.Stefano and Paola and all their staff look after their guests in first class non obstrusive style. Attention to detail is paramount, from the beautiful stylish rooms with wonderful views over stunning scenery to the most superb dinners prepared and cooked by Paola. Breakfast is great too.... We were on the way from Venice to Amalfi coast, so Umbria is a good place to break the journey. We relied on th excellent tripadvisor rating and were not disappointed. Actually, it was perfect. Starting with the very amiable owners Stefano and Paola (who produces first class dinners in the evening if you like) to the dramatically beautiful views... More

From the moment you are welcomed by Stefano and Paola to this beautifully restored Umbrian Villa, now a superb boutique hotel, you know you are in for a treat. We had a spacious, charming room with views over the swimming pool and valley below on one side, and the neighbouring hill town and all the way to Todi on the... More

Our family stayed at the La Palazzetta del Vescovo recently, and found it utterly enchanting! We can't say enough good things about Paola and Stefano, their hospitality, the staff, etc. There is so much amazing character in every common room and the room we stayed in. The views from the hotel were also stunning. The pool was too cold in... More

On our 25th wedding anniversary return to Italy, our first stop after leaving Rome was at La Palazetta (about 1.5 - 2 hours away by car) where we spent four nights in mid-October, on a high hill in Southern Umbria about a 15 minute drive from Todi. Our hosts Paola and Stefano Zocchi were wonderful; Paola's cooking was top-notch, and... More

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is - but in this case it is actually true. Paola and Stefano have pretty much nailed it: the welcome, the hospitality, the food, the views, the quality of the restoration of the property, the food, the beds, the bathrooms, the food, the wine, the service, the bedding, the towels,... Stayed in May for two nights, and do not want to let any more time pass without reviewing this property. Paola's and Stefano's hospitality is superb. The rooms are spotless. The beds comfortable. The view outstanding and the location is quiet except for birds early in the morning. The food, especially the home cooked dinners, superb. Even though all these... More

My wife, Claire, and I stayed at La Palazzetta del Vescovo for 5 nights starting on 16 August 2014. Without beating around the bush, we both agree and are happy to state that Stefano and Paola have got the business of hospitality closer to perfection than anywhere else we can recall having stayed. We like to stay in quirky out-of-the-way... More

I have had the pleasure to be Paola's and Stefano's guest at Palazzetta del Vescovo. I can't remember I experimented a similar excellence level of service as I did there in all the aspects of guest hosting. Beautiful location uphill, Umbria-style completely remodeled buildings, perfectly trimmed yard and surroundings, vegetable garden to provide the kitchen with fresh products, negative-slope swimming...
