My wife and I spent 4 days at Errington's and had a wonderful experience. The two things they really excel at is service and providing a great fishing experience. We were on the American plan and any request we had was addressed immediately and with great cheerfulness. I would highly recommend that you retain the services of Larry for a... More

Have been going to Errington's Wilderness Island Resort for 8 years. Reasons to go back are great staff, excellent food, rustic clean rooms, and fishing has been exceptional for walleyes and N. Pike. Cabins are comfortable with excellent views of the lake. Good variety of menu items and a person won't go hungry. Shore lunches are fresh walleye with a... More

Had another great visit to the Errington's fine establishment. This place is a well run family operation with comfortable and clean accomodations, great food in an absolutely beautiful and natural environment. On this trip caught plenty of walleye and pike (as usual), saw bears, otters, beavers, bald eagles and ospreys. We will be back again next year.

Wilderness...YES, rugged...NO, we were pampered by all the personnel that works for Abbey and Doris at Errington's Wilderness Island Resort. Meals are absolutely amazing, the view is breath taking, accommodation can be in the lodge or in a cabin. Boats are provided, and you can even reserve a fishing guide, to help you along. we will definitely be returning.

Why do you feel like you've come back home, when you've never been here? We traveled in on a float plane and landed to a welcoming party that included the loving yellow lab Nikita who seemed to say "What took you so long to get here?" as she wagged her way into our hearts. She was also there on the... More

My wife was not really interested in going fishing with me to Errington's Wilderness Island. After our stay in August 2013, she has changed her mind and has indicated that she would be more than willing to come back to the resort. The fishing was terrific but the service and food was outstanding. Al Errington and his staff were very... More

Suites over cabins is always a debate. The cabins are more secluded, the suites are closer to the lodge and services. Both cabins and suites are very comfortable and have great views of Lake Wabatongushi. More
