I stayed here for three nights and used it as a base for three days walking on the long distance footpath, the Saar-Hunsruck Steig. Lovely room looking over the lake (a reservoir but you have to look hard to realize it), clean, comfortable and with everything you could need. nice rooms (good shower) and practical ... place was opened only 1-2 years ago, so all in good shape. That's why 4stars. Food is average (nothing special), staff is new (and untrained). There is no proper bar, but you can get a drink in the reception area (if you are lucky and there is still somebody).

We went there on a girly weekend to get away from everyday stress. The rooms are modern and nicely fournished. The view over the lake is breathtaking. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was lovely.
