We stayed for a week at this quaint little hotel while my husband was in Munich on business. The surrounding area was beautiful and quiet! We loved walking around the lake each day. Very easy access to the grocery store, restaurants, and the train station. If traveling with a child - ask for the family room, which has a queen... More

A nice hotel, clean and efficient and situated in a picturesque location next to a lake. Rooms comfortable apart from very soft pillows, had to roll one up tight in its case to make it usable. Breakfast was basic, lunch and dinner menu okay. Staff very friendly although a little inattentive at times (10 minutes to get served at the... More

Hotel is very clean. Food is very good. Beds are comfortable. Very nice atmosphere. I am here on business and found this place exactly what the doctor ordered. The free wifi is appreciated but could use a stronger signal as it cuts out often. It's not modern and high tech like the big city hotels but the location and quality... More

The hotel is easily accessible direct from the airport by using the S8 s-bahn train which travels through the centre of Munich. The hotel is then situated within an easy 5 minute walk from Wessling s-bahn station and it is also well sign posted. The hotel itself is located next to a lake and I can imagine that this would... Stayed 4 nights on business and only really stayed here do to the proximity to the meeting center. I didn't mind the stay and the small town of Wessling was neat. My main complaint is about the location of my room - if you are sensitive to smoke and/or loud noise then DO NOT stay in room 101. Its located... More

Stayed here on a business trip recently. The location of the hotel is good, nice and quite area with a beautiful lake just outside. However, the rooms and the service is not 4 stars. The bathrooms are nice and clean but the rooms and beds bear the sign of old age. The rooms are also small (at least single rooms).... More

Stayed here when we went to the Champions League Final. The setting of this hotel backing onto the lake is really pretty. It is a very traditional looking hotel and the downstairs areas are very smart. We had a room on the top floor that was large comfortable but basically furnished. Good bathroom separate to the main room was very... More

Travelled there on business stayed 2 nights. The receptionist had a serious problem with the truth or was very stupid. She spoke perfect English but I was due to meet a collegue there and told her to let me know when he arrived. He did the same but we met by accident late in the evening despite us both being... More

Not sure how this hotel got its 4 stars - I would rate it more like an "ok" 3 star hotel. Upsides: - gorgeous location right at the Wesslinger See - very good breakfast buffet, not too fancy though Downsides: - dated rooms and installations - cleanliness was medium - fairly small rooms and bathroom
