We first stayed at Le Vallon in 2010, and we didn't imagine we would be back very soon. Well, things change. This June my wife and I took our granddaughter to France and decided that we had to go back to Provence and Le Vallon. We contacted Fred and Michelle about the possibility of staying with them. We were disappointed... More

We stayed at Domaine Le Vallon for 6 nights in May 2013 and absolutely loved it! Fred and Michele were the perfect hosts, the rooms were generously sized and comfy, breakfasts were fresh and enjoyable, the grounds and the restored home were an absolute treat. Thank you! Thank you for the wonderful stay and thank you for the lovely memories.... More

This hotel, in essence a beautfully landscaped estate, makes you feel like you take a step back in time. It is elegant without bring pretentious, the rooms are a as if from fairy tale, the host was wonderful and attentive, the grounds are gorgeous and welcoming, and the pool has a dining area with a fridge for dinner al fresco.... Staying at this property in Provence was just perfection. From the moment you drive through the big gates, past the vines and see the house you know you have found something very special. We stayed for 9 nights in the Room Les Roses and it was just perfect. This is one of those properties where the photographs you take just... More

Domaine Le Vallon If you pay the prices of Domaine Le Vallon, you expect something special. And that is just what you get. The photos on their website enticed us to stay, they looked the absolute picture postcard of Provence elegance, and we were not disappointed. Approaching DLV, the area between Carpentras and Aubignan is not the prettiest. But once... More

I have to be honest - I thought this place was perfect. Very secluded and not easy to find, but well worth the effort. Once you get through the large wrought iron security gates and drive along the impressive tree-lined approach and then turn to skirt the vineyards which face a perfectly landscaped garden, you realise that this is a... I cannot describe in detail the incredible stay at this wonderful establishment. It was beyond every expectation. The attention to detail is evident in every room and rolling outside into the beautiful established garden. The decor and design of this much loved is stylish and chic . Michele and Fred could not do enough to please us. We stayed in... More

An idyllic location! Although the photographs on the website are beautiful, they cannot totally capture the breathtaking beauty, elegance, serenity, and romance that Le Vallon represents. It is truly a magical place! We will long remember the sumptuous outdoor breakfasts, the views of the majestic plane trees that we woke up to each morning, the lovely antiques decorating each room,... More

The beauty of this tastefully restored property is simply breathtaking, located in its own delightful gardens and vines. On arrival we were greeted by owner, Michele who led us and our bags to the second floor room (really only negative, car park to room with bags was an effort, be warned f not travelling light!). Breakfasts in the garden were... More

The house is beautifully restored, the park surrounding it beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Rose room, which was very gracious and looked out on the park and centuries-old plane trees. The wifi did not reach the room, sadly, but could be accessed in the common room. L'Occitane toiletries are provided, as are supplies for in-room... More
