Hotel Hofgut Sternen is a comfortable hotel in typical Black Forest style, situated in a quiet park area within easy access from Regional Bahn station HINTERZARTEN (3KMS). It is a great starting point for nice walking tours. From the outside, the hotel is a very beautiful building. The room themselves are pretty basic with blond wood paneling. The quality of the room isn't much better then a motel. Like other Alpine low-star hotels, they have body-wash containers bolted to the shower and the wash basin. The hotel is surrounded by a Cuckoo clock store and another pretty... more

Absolutely wonderful and charming, surrounded by great walking paths, an old church with bonery - the rooms were great - oversized and clean with charming balconies. Would highly recommend the hotel and the gift shops - incredible! more

This was the most idyllic hotel in which we have ever stayed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We'd recommend it to anyone. It's a must in your tour of Germany., more

A very beautiful hotel. Good food, good service, beautiful scenery. Can't fault anything that has to do with this hotel. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. more
