Hotel Zamek ryn is a castle hotel and everything in it is top notch. Hotel staff is very polite and helpfull and the breakfast was very good and tasty. Inside the hotel there are also a lot of museum things from darker ages too see, really interesting. I really dont know much about the town because we arrived late in the... More

We enjoyed a very enjoyable 2 nights in Ryn at Hotel Zamek. Staying in a castle itself is a real experience and this castle was very authentic. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location ideal if you enjoy peace and quiet. Ryn isn't as busy as some of the other lakeside towns and is quite a charming... More

Interesting architectural place, situated in a very nice place. Unfortunately, we were given an interior room which was awfull: 1) No contact to outside 2) Window to internal patio used for dinners with horrible noise at night and very smelly due to the food. 3) Extrememely noisy early in the morning because of public access and children screaming , using... I have stayed in Castles before but this one made me feel like I was in a castle! Very cool. Loved it. Quite the maze to find rooms but I usually found it without too much backtracking. No wifi in the rooms which was hard for me. Small rooms of course but expected. English was spoken so that helped me... More

Stayed here during September. The building is nice. Rooms are unspectacular. Beds look uninviting but give a good night's sleep. Room could have been cleaner - not horribly unclean but needed a thorough going over. The food was good, but don't expect anything like a room service option. Staff don't speak very much english, but are as helpful as they... More

I stayed here for 5 nights in September while attending a meeting (also held here). The castle-like feel of this hotel is definitely there. I had an exposed beam that came down quite low in my room that I missed almost every time but did bump once (ouch). Attached bathroom was nice and modern. Twin beds were behind a wall... More

We just returned from a 2 week holiday in Poland. We spent only 1 night in Ryn and Zamek Ryn was our choice for accommodation. The property is absolutely beautiful....meticulously maintained. It has all the ambiance/feel of a castle hotel that one would expect. We read some reviews/comments where people found the interior to be a bit dark & though... More

Hotel situated in nicely renovated medieval castle, so rooms have some “historical” charm with modern equipment (no WiFi, only through cable!). Excellent offer for dinner from the restaurant and good breakfast (just a bit noisy – try to come earlier :).

Very large hotel located in a previous castle. Impressive when you enter the reception. The hall is spacious. The dinner area is very cosy and the buffet was very good. Regarding the rooms you can be lucky to have a good layout, but there are also very small rooms. The walk to the rooms is partly in darkness and easy... More

Great red brick castle built by the Teutonic Knights.Features everything you could imagine : dark corridors ,big bricked vault( with a narrow pool inside, great for laps ),armored knights, swords ,helmets hanging everywhere.a little too dark if you stay several days ,but it was fine for 1 night;bountiful breakfast included, makes the price cheap by western standards (80 euros in summer.)Huge dining...
