This guesthouse in Silesia in the far Southwest of Poland is one of the nicest I have experienced. It represents exceptional value, with lovely rooms and overall atmosphere, and its location in a beautiful rural village. It is a little out of the way: we wouldn't have known about it without the assistance of Polish friends, but it is worth... More

We spent a week in Villa Greta in July and it was really exceptional experience. The place is so charming you don't want to leave. Beautiful, clean rooms, great surroundings, a place for children to play - everything you need to relax. And the food - the food is so delicious, fresh, home-made - you could spend hours at the... Villa Greta is a family-owned bed & breakfast situated in a small village of Dobków in the fantastic region of Lower Silesia (Dolny Śląsk), full of old mines, castles, ruins and museums. The interior is charming, meals are delicious, although rather pricey and the village itself offers a lot more than accommodations and views. Everyone considering a visit to Villa... More

Villa Greta is one of those places you will remember forever. In the middle of 'nowhere' yet close to 'everywhere', Villa Greta is the perfect base for sightseeing in Lower Silesia. The hosts, Ewalina and Kristof, are charming and attentive. It may be a family oriented B&B but that does not mean you are constantly falling over children. They have... More

I live in Germany and had family visit for a few weeks. Wanting to show them part of Eastern Europe, I suggested Poland and started researching a location that was easily drivable from our home, that would offer a taste of 'true Poland'. With some patience and research, I somehow stumbled upon Villa Greta. So glad I did! Villa Greta... More

We stayed for a glorious week in May. Ewa and Christoz were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They tried really hard to assist us in enjoying their region...and they succeeded. The guesthouse lends itself to a houseparty atmosphere. We had a great time sitting round a campfire on 3 evenings with other European guests. The food was excellent,... More
