Once again we decided as we had just one night left to try a b&b as we usually only stay in high end hotels But after our stay in Laguna in the best western plus was so successful ( best night sleep ever) We thought we would try here for a night First I would say one night here was... More

Wonderful stay. The setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed with original artwork, and antique furnishings. Beds were comfortable. Sleep was amazingly peaceful. This is truly a family run business - that puts a lot of love and care into the B&B. They were very accommodating, and have a knack for showing up at the right time, without intruding... More

So good points It's very clean ! Clearly a well loved place The view is spectacular and it's lovely and quiet The attention to detail in the room is clearly thought out and very quirky Could do better with something's , we didn't have breakfast as this was dead on 9am - which is late for us , we had... These were nice people and we enjoyed hosting them. There is no doubt that some people want to "get up and go", but since we are a true family-run business, we can't stretch our and our kid's time to prepare breakfasts in a several-hour window. Breakfast is almost always two settings, one at nine and the other at 9:30. Once... More

Everything lived up to our expectations. Warm welcome, comfortable rooms, good breakfast. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the place and surroundings. Right up in the hills, beautiful countryside.

What a fantastic find. Beautiful, secluded, quiet, nurturing. When I visited I had just sustained a painful injury. This was the perfect place to recoup. They let me stay throughout the day and evening in the common space so I could await my next flight as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts are unsurpassable, even with gluten and dairy-free requirements.

A relaxing setting high in the mountains with great views. Yet you are only a 15-20 minute ride to the beach and close to the LA metro area. Friendly owners and ample breakfasts. Canyon road is curvy, and secondary road to inn is not in good shape and very dark at night. Parking is a little tight.

This is a good, basic B&B. But, if you're looking for a deluxe, trendy, romantic holiday with lots of hands on attention, Topanga Valley Inn may not be the place for you. There's no chocolate on the pillow, no turn down maid service; in fact, if you're only there for a few days, the room doesn't get serviced at all!... More

We enjoyed talking with this guest at breakfast and would like to respond to his comments. We are limited by zoning, so we cannot offer the restaurant and tavern that he would like. It is possible to order in from several good restaurants and eat in one of our two dining rooms with a kitchen nearby for preparing drinks, coffee,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Fred and Ginger room for our anniversary, and it was such a treat! I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and I'd also recommend eating at Inn of the Seventh Ray! Topanga Canyon is a great escape from Los Angeles, while still being close to lots of attractions, including the beautiful beaches... More

The location was fine and the house itself was nice; very European in style. However, it seemed like a number of details were overlooked. For the price we expected nicer towels, more plush bathrobes, especially for those rooms that did not have an en-suite, and some budge on the breakfast time for those folks that like to start their day... Arrived late into LA airport and didn't arrive at the Inn until about 11.00pm. Glad I had a Sat Nav/GPS otherwise at that time of night might have had a problem finding it. Made previous arrangements to get in as there is no reception which worked out fine. We stayed in the Nick & Nora room which was perfect with... More
