Everything lived up to our expectations. Warm welcome, comfortable rooms, good breakfast. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the place and surroundings. Right up in the hills, beautiful countryside.

What a fantastic find. Beautiful, secluded, quiet, nurturing. When I visited I had just sustained a painful injury. This was the perfect place to recoup. They let me stay throughout the day and evening in the common space so I could await my next flight as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts are unsurpassable, even with gluten and dairy-free requirements.

A relaxing setting high in the mountains with great views. Yet you are only a 15-20 minute ride to the beach and close to the LA metro area. Friendly owners and ample breakfasts. Canyon road is curvy, and secondary road to inn is not in good shape and very dark at night. Parking is a little tight.

This is a good, basic B&B. But, if you're looking for a deluxe, trendy, romantic holiday with lots of hands on attention, Topanga Valley Inn may not be the place for you. There's no chocolate on the pillow, no turn down maid service; in fact, if you're only there for a few days, the room doesn't get serviced at all!... More

We enjoyed talking with this guest at breakfast and would like to respond to his comments. We are limited by zoning, so we cannot offer the restaurant and tavern that he would like. It is possible to order in from several good restaurants and eat in one of our two dining rooms with a kitchen nearby for preparing drinks, coffee,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Fred and Ginger room for our anniversary, and it was such a treat! I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and I'd also recommend eating at Inn of the Seventh Ray! Topanga Canyon is a great escape from Los Angeles, while still being close to lots of attractions, including the beautiful beaches... More

The location was fine and the house itself was nice; very European in style. However, it seemed like a number of details were overlooked. For the price we expected nicer towels, more plush bathrobes, especially for those rooms that did not have an en-suite, and some budge on the breakfast time for those folks that like to start their day... Arrived late into LA airport and didn't arrive at the Inn until about 11.00pm. Glad I had a Sat Nav/GPS otherwise at that time of night might have had a problem finding it. Made previous arrangements to get in as there is no reception which worked out fine. We stayed in the Nick & Nora room which was perfect with... More

My wife and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary at Topanga. This was our first time, but we WILL be back! Aside from a wonderful property, with well appointed suites and peaceful living areas, we were most surprised that it was only 20 minutes to the Ocean or 30mins to Hollywood! Although when you are at Topanga you feel like you... More

I stayed at the Topanga Canyon Inn for just one night, on my way to an exhibit at the Getty Villa, just a few miles down the PCH. I was in the Bogey and Bacall room, which had a large ensuite bathroom. That room is on the ground floor, facing the hillside behind the property, so the view is not... More

We stayed here in September it was so nice we stayed in the Tarzan and Jane room, the best views in the house. The bathroom was not in the room so I locked the keys in the bathroom the 1st night, thank goodness the owners were still there. The owners were very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful.
