The place is nothing like I’ve ever seen before. I’m used to stay in city center hotels, and I wanted to go back to someplace closer to nature. The staff is very friendly (Manon was really helpful at the front desk!) and the diners we had were amazingly good (and served hot!). Our room was neat and clean, beautifully decorated... More

Thought about writing two reviews for this place, one to cover the accommodation and one to cover the food but chose to rate overall because there isn’t a lot of choice but to eat in. The location is stunning and the views stupendous. Some fine walking too, though in Bund’s not so humble opinion the Sentier Du Phare is well... More

Dear MorrieBund, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at Cap au Leste’s. We are glad to read you enjoyed both the views and your room. Concerning the noise from adjacent units, we want to highlight the fact that we chose to keep the wooden constructions instead of pouring concrete on a natural landscape.... More

I went to Cap au Leste with friends for one night. We I called to inquire about the place I did mention that we were riding Harley Davidson bikes. Good thing to do because the front desk employee told me that the road was "doable" by bike, but not fun at all. Thus, I was not surprised about that bumpy... More

The previous reviews do capture the positives and negatives. The location is 5 miles off the main road on a dirt track But it is worth the drive as the views are magnificent from the rooms. The rooms are wooden, rustic, clean but let down by unnecessarily cheap fixtures and fittings. For example the shower worked well but was fixed... More

We stayed with our children for 2 nights in august. Even if the place was crowded we did get a great service and meal at Cap au Leste. The real taste of French cuisine in Canada. Dinner was excellent with many local products superbly prepared by the chef. Our room was a bit small for the four of us, but... More

My wife and I stayed for a week in July 2013. It is an excellent establishment which has made the most of its superb location. The accommodation is in attractive wooden chalets set in the trees around the main building. Given the nature of the place, the bedroom and bathroom facilities are above average, though obviously not top hotel standard.... More

Everything will happen like in the review you red already! its a beautiful place, the view is fantastic but the road to get there is a bit annoying and you can hear everything that is going on in your neighbours room... But, honestly, we thought that knowing that in advance, made our stay a lot better than if it would... More

We stayed there two nights and were really amazed by the beauty of the site. And that is unfortunately all you can be amazed by. The real issue is total lack of management of the site. On the one hand buildings are obviously degradating fast without a single investment. Worth than that the entire staff consist in a poor team... More

This place should be called a youth hostel and cost not more than $40 per night. It's an extremely basic and tasteless accommodation where everything is stripped to the bare minimum. There is a total mismatch between the impression you get when checking their online pictures, and reality. Chalets have mostly no view and are of very low quality. Public... More

we stay only one night at Cap Leste in Ste-Rose du nord, the room are basic but clean and comfortable, each room does have a beautiful view on the Saguenay river. There is no air conditionning but we slept very good with window open and fresh air from Saguenay, not noise disturbed our sleep. We had choosen to eat there... More
