I stayed in here, because the other lodging are full. Actually, they have quite good and scenic colonial building. Sadly, they are difficult to reach, starting from reservation, their phone no. are difficult to reach, the roads to reach the homestay are broken...... The room was dirty and not well maintained. Yes the price is cheap, but we got better... More

I chose this place for convenience and so it is. Quite close to the begin of Ijen trip. I would not recommend staying in a place far from Ijen unless the reviews say so. So far as this place is concerned....it is a little worse than I expected. I sighed and reconciled myself to the room but I hated the... More

We knew this was going to be bad, as our daughter had stayed there previously, and we had read reviews. However on the tour we had booked there was no option. There were 4 of us, my husband and I in our 50s and our daughter and new boyfriend who we did not meet until this trip. The first problem... More

The rooms are basic but it is good enough on the way to Ijen. After a long journey, it was nice to be able to use the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. Friends had huge problems with the cleanliness of their room but the staff cleaned it again and it was all good afterwards. The restaurant is good but not... More

Browsing previous reviews I find that opinions are more positive if people stayed longer than one night. If one arrives after nightfall and leaves before daybreak, as most do who take an Ijen tour, how can one appreciate the place? We stayed in a room in the former plantation managers house AD 1894, slightly more expensive than the newer and... More

What an awful experience we had staying in this so called home stay. Run down rooms with smell of moulds and dirty bathrooms. Owner and the staff have an attitude, stay or live as this area has almost no choices when it comes to budget accommodations. It is acceptable that when you travel you have good and bad experiences. However... More

Our hired car agency booked this place for us. Outside decoration is nice old colonial era. The hotel is inside a coffee plantation. I arrived in the evening and had to leave at 1 am for Ijen so didn't have time to look around. I did not order dinner. They gave us packed breakfast which is a piece of bakery... More

Please read until the end! We stayed here as part of the 3d 2n tour from Yogyakarta. We didn't expect much of the hotel (we are backpackers) and the hotel met our low expectations. I knew not to shower there so got up extra early in the last place to shower! Don't eat there, 50k is a rip off for... More

My wife and I stayed here, and it is pretty pricy for the dumpy rooms that you get. That being said, the location is great. The villages nearby are filled with friendly locals, and it is near to the Mt. Ijen base camp. The food is also half-way decent. If you are lucky, as we were, the locals may come... More

You don't have much choice in the area to be honest so it has no real competition for it to bother improving things.. The room was shocking... we were in the old building... walls paper thin... your window faces the food area which means you hear everything... the bathroom is a sight to believe.. the bed was too soft... they...
