L'antica tenuta Le Casacce is a very good place to stay if you are looking for a rural experience without too much additions that make it not so rural. It has the perfect combination of comfort and environment respect to give you a true Tuscan experience. The apartments are very good and they have a terrace to drink their good... More

We really wonder about the high rated reviews on TripAdvisor. We find it difficult to give more than 2 to 3 stars to this establishment. Le Cassace is nicely located in the south east Tuscany at the beautyful Val de Orcia. It is a bit isolated, so you need a car. The views may be great from the main building... More

Lovely spot to stay. Amazing views from our spacious duplex apartment (one of two on the property). The best culinary treats of our entire Italy/Sicily trip. Our host, Enrico was most gracious and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. Even arranging a private wine tour for us. We arrived very late in the evening. Enrico manages... More

Actually it was an apartment, not a room as we thought. We stayed there 4 nights, and honestly we would return any time to relax. As I said, we stayed into an fully equipped apartment, with a huge terrace, and with a great view over the valley. The sunset was amazing every evening. They clean your room every day, but... More

Visiting Antica Tenuta Le Cassace just once is not enough. You miss it as soon as you leave and wish you could have stayed just another day. It is just like the name sounds: idyllic, quaint and delicious. Being here is like coming to a your own hideaway in the hills of Tuscany, with the convenience of truly great food... More

Everything about this property is so beautiful, we wish we could have stayed much longer. The villa was huge - the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room must have been 50sqm. The views are beyond amazing from this hill-top location - all of the guests were sitting by the pool late in the afternoon looking down & out over the... More

Authentic open and rolling countryside charmed us on our stay. As did the comfortable apartment and hospitable Enrico. He and his staff were the most charming hosts. Let him cook for you one of the evenings of your stay and you won't be disappointed. Wonderful base to see the Val d'Orcia and Monte Amiata. And so close to Siena too!

Have you ever dreamed of staying in a comfortable stone apartment in Tuscany, wine on the terrace, walk through the olive groves, visit Montepulciano and Montelcino by day and return at night to an amazing dinner cooked from local produce by host Enrico then this is your dream come true. A true highlight of our trip.

We staid at the Antica Tenuta Le Casacce in September 2012. The host, Signore Enrico, was wonderful and accommodated a booking mistake without problem. Let's see, a few highlights: - Location: high on the hills of Tuscanny, with a beautiful view. From there you can go and visit the beautiful towns of Tuscanny or just take pictures of this amazing...
