Unlike my earlier review, this stay wasnt quite as memorable. I didnt get married this time around!!! However, we both had truly memorable weekend. As ever, we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff. The food was exceptional as we have come to expect. Its such a shame that Eleanor... More

This is a gorgeous old mansion right on the shore of Loch Lomand. The place is so quaint and the food was wonderful. The views of Loch Lomand and the Scottish snowcapped mountains were amazing. There is more to Ross Priory than a beautiful place for a wedding. This is a place to forget your email, shut off your mobile,... More

I recently attended a 3-day course at Ross Priory and could not have been more satisfied with the level of service I received. The food was well presented and plentiful, and the staff went out of their way to make sure that everyone was happy with their order. If the duck is on the menu I would definitely recommend you... Had Christmas dinner here on Friday. Fantastic. From arrival our mulled wine and canapes were delicious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Starters were outstanding. We loved the hot walnut bread and salmon. For the main course I had turkey and my partner venison. The quality, presentation, service and taste are 1st class. The hotel as always was looking beautiful... More

Was a guest at a silver wedding celebration. Had a bar meal when we arrived which provided excellent value for money. Stayed in the family room which was extremely spacious and well equipped. Would recommend this venue for small celebrations.

Ross Priory is a peculiar cross between guest house/hotel/conference centre/golf club. However this should not put you off. We stayed in a room on the ground floor which was spacious and beautifully appointed with views to die for. Generally no staff remain on site overnight and there is no reception at all. There is an emergency telephone number overnight and... More

Visited with friends in late July, walked in the gardens and admired the views from the front of the house across the Loch while husbands played golf. Had lunch which was very nice. A lovely peaceful setting and we had nice weather, what's not to like.
