Have spent a week in one of the lodges of the resort. The lodge was OK. The weak WIFI was one of the unexpected limitations in such a supposed high level site. Service in all facilities has a lot of space for improvement. Staff does not meet expectations. Last but not least we were very upset when we were asked... More

My husband and I stayed here for our first Anniversary. We had both heard a lot about it and we were not disappointed. Our room was well appointed (although some scuffs to pieces of wooden furniture). Bed was perfect, so comfortable and bedding was a high quality white cotton. Breakfast in our room was lovely and the gluten free options... More

getting late in our trip and we thought we would treat ourselves to a upper class resort. Booked thru Booking.com so of course we expected to pay as we checked out as per the confirmation. We even got an email with an opportunity to upgrade the room for a nominal fee which we agreed to. we should have known we... More

A wonderful welcome by the concierge team! But then as you enter you feel you need a torch to get around! Everything is dark or black, panelling, furniture, walls, bedrooms etc. we found it difficult to read in our bedroom and it was high summer and sunshine outside. The service was poor to middling in all areas, including coming back... More

This is the place to be. The room was second to none - the most luxurious hotel we've stayed in. Staff, cleanliness, leisure facilities etc top notch. Food looked amazing but maybe over salted. Best pancakes ever for breakfast. Definitely stay here.

Lovely hotel to stay in, the décor of the rooms is very traditional with the tartan theme. Loch view is nice but I wouldn't say it is essential as you don't spend that much time there. The robes are great!! My favourite restaurant is the Boat House - would recommend the burger/lobster macaroni for lunch and in the evening mussels... More

I got married at this hotel 4 years ago and as such have always absolutely loved the place. Our wedding was faultless. We then returned for a birthday celebration a year later to find the hotel had gone considerably downhill. The staff were rude, there was trouble with check in and the room (we'd booked a suite and they tried... More

I wrote a review some time ago with the title above 'Some Uncharacteristic Issues' (April 2012) following a visit we had for my wife's birthday. I've just returned from a 3 night break with my wee family and it's time to review again. Firstly I have to say my wife and I got married in this hotel therefore it has... More

We stayed at the hotel on 5-6th July as we were booked for a trip on the seaplane. We arrived quite early (about 2:15), and to be fair, before the normal check in time (3pm), however unlike everyone else in the queue before us, our room wasn't ready and we were assured it wouldn't be long. We left a mobile... More

We arrived on Friday evening and was met by very helpful staff and concierge. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy with a lovely loch view. We ate at The Boat House (franchise of a Loch Fyne), very average and rather pricey if I am honest, however I can't fault the service. Saturday, We enjoyed a swim and me a... More
