After a busy three week holiday in the wonderful New Zealand we checked into the beautiful Little Polynesian boutique hotel on Rarotaonga in the Cook Islands. Our thatched beach house could not have been closer to the sea and very private. The day bed set up on the outside deck provided us with wonderful views of the sea and the... More

One of the most peaceful, relaxing and visually stunning spots in the world. Spacious, clean and calming accommodation opening out onto gorgeous beach and lagoon views. We loved the daybed, outdoor spa bath and the fact that our bungalow was only 10 steps from the sea! The staff were fantastically attentive but in a very non-intrusive way. The food was... More

We thought the Little Poly was fantastic, and have no idea why anyone wouldn't! General: Lovely pool, clean communal areas. Room: beautiful, clean, well appointed with a stunning view. Use of kayaks on the beach and snorkels too. Staff: attentive without making you feel uncomfortable. Offered advice on things to do, places to eat etc. Food: Delicious (Breakfast: Fruit, cereal,... I recently stayed at the Little Polynesian, after a much needed winter break. We arrived on the direct flight from Sydney early Sunday Morning, and were greated with a smile and friendliness from the front office manager, who assisted us to our room. The daily breakfast was fantastic! The staff were so helpful - in fact, I prefer to drink... More

Recently spent 5 nights there and was pleasantly surprised. Having read a few negative reviews and heaps of positives, I have to go with the latter. Sure it may have little issues like a missing night blind and faulty spa bath, but overall was very impressed. The staff were more than helpful and very friendly. We ate in the restaurant... More

The rooms were beautiful and provided an excellent view of the beach. The staff was friendly and always willing to help out and book/call for activities.

We came here for our honeymoon and we did quite a bit of research before we came and were a bit worried because of some of the previous comments, but it was absolutely stunning and a lovely magical place, very tranquill relaxing and a boutique type place to stay that isn't the big touristy hotels! Worth paying for the over... More

This really is a beautiful spot on Rarotonga. The lagoon is blue and deep, and the beach sandy. The bures were beachfront and had wonderful amenities, including a private outside spa and shower. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the resturant while small had an interesting menu and very good wine list. The only issue we had was... More

The first moment we arrived, dropped our bags, and walked down the couple of steps onto the beach at night under the stars = unforgettable. An awesome place. The beachfront villa was the perfect, perfect place to start a romantic trip. Relaxed, quiet, loads of space to yourself, and amazingly appointed. We loved it.
