We stayed at this resort 3 years ago and this time on our very recent visit we stayed else where because we were with a group of friends celebrating a 70th Birthday. We went there for lunch, the woman at the front desk wasn't very friendly but the bar lady was nice however we felt really let down in the... More

As we enter; its like walking through the gates of heaven.. We spent a day at this little hidden jewel and were mesmerized by the beautiful staff and setting.. The management is well organised I can say... Upper market and awesome place to stay.. I feel bad for some staff though... They working really hard with low income...keeping the place... More

This hotel is quite modern. When we walked in to the room we were wowed by the decor and colours. Gorgeous setting with the infinity pool. Very beachy, bright and comfortable. Lovely outdoor daybed on the deck and 2 great chairs to sit in. Very private and right on the beach. On closer inspection though, the place did need some... More

Stayed for 8 nights early August this year and loved every minute. Great accommodation (clean, private sun-trap garden, sheltered from Southerly breeze) and cooked breakfasts served in our room if requested, at no additional charge. The restaurant flows out straight onto the beach and the sea is so blue! It's also good for swimming as it's quite safe at that... More

A stunning location, beach at your doorstep, thats the only positive I have for this resort. Room was rundown and in need of an overhaul, but clean.Bedspread torn and finally removed but never replaced. Shutters broken and wouldnt close. Light switches for africa and we could never work them out. Had to ask for milk, coffee, beach towels, never just... More

No welcome from the lady on reception just a very curt "you need to fill in this form and I need your credit card" was this the start of things to come. Unfortunately yes it was, no concierge, disinterested staff and a service level very much below par. Breakfast has to be pre-booked, after every breakfast you are handed a... More

It's such a shame as it is obvious that this place was once a gorgeous resort. Sadly things have been let go and it is looking rather dilapidated and uncared for. Our welcome from the receptionist was very frosty and came across as very disinterested . We were served welcome drinks by a lovely waitress, which was a nice touch.... More

The Restaurant and Bar is a lovely place to visit for lunch or dinner. They have half price drinks at happy hour too. The food is superb. the staff are helpful and friendly. The setting is glorious looking out to the lagoon.

The dates were wrong on our itinerary (we were missing a nights accommodation due to arriving a day earlier than we left nz) so we booked 1 night here last minute. We booked through expedia for $280 NZD which was supposed to be 45% off. We stayed in a Over the Beach Are (Bungalow) which was pretty much like the... More

We didn't actually stay at the hotel, but we ate at the restaurant on the eve of our departure. The food was spectacular. While enjoying our meal, we found out that our flight was delayed until 3am. Even though we had not been staying at the hotel, The Little Polynesian concierge took care of us as if we were their... More
