We stayed here for a week in June and it was simply heaven. This is a privately owned hotel in a peaceful but active village which is perfect for those seeking a quiet break. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spacious clean rooms, big towels, comfy beds. The gardens and pool are a delight but the real bloom is Giovanna who... More

I recently started and finished a self guided cycle trip around Tuscany organised by skedaddle from the Albergo Roma. Claudia the owner met us at reception and in her perfect English welcomed us and assisted in every way possible. It was a joy to return there on the conclusion of the trip. I would recommend this hotel without reservation .... More

Cant comment on price or value for money, because my visit was arranged by a tour company and included in the tour price. However, this was a charming, typically Italian hotel with very attentive and enthusiastic staff. The lady on reception in particular was always happy to help with anything and the local spa water must work, because she was... More

I read reviews about this hotel and its staff and I was a bit sceptical, but, they were all correct. Albergo Roma is just perfect. The building is steeped in history, the staff, especially Giovanna, are lovely. It's not a hotel for party animals. The guests are, in the main senior citizens, visiting the Terme. The hotel is peaceful, beautifully... More

Excellent hotel Really well situated to walk around the lovely town with lots of nice restaurants and bars Air conditioning worked well and we had a room with terrace (M2) which had a nice view over the hills I got up one morning early and just sat out watching the sun come up and the town slowly waking up The... We would like a few words to say how impressed we were with the hotel. Spotlessly clean, wonderful food, magnificent pool lovely and warm and bang in the centre of the town. But the most important thing to mention was the warm welcome from the family that own this hotel, they could not do enough to make us feel at home in... More

We stayed at Albergo Roma in early July for 4 days and greatly enjoyed our visit. The owners were so helpful and the hotel itself was so relaxing. It also helped that we met some very nice people on vacation in the hotel at the time of our visit. Great rooms with character and space...loads of space. We so enjoyed... More

We were staying at the Roma for a wedding weekend. Traveling with 2 teenagers, we found the hotel to be clean, tidy and very welcoming. The owners could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. The staff always polite and happy to please. Our room (2 singles and 1 large double) was beautiful with high ceilings and comfortable... More

Arrived hot and tired after cycling from Pisa. Owners made up feel really welcome. Rooms were excellent and food superb. Wine and olive oil from their own farm, together with home-grown cherries picked 2 hours before dinner. The menu had 2 starters (pasta) and 2 main courses - don't be put off. The quality and the quantity were first rate,... More

While clean and well appointed rooms are important (and mine was here)...what makes a good hotel great are the people. The owners and staff at Albergo Roma are special and make this property great. They greeted two tired bicyclists with cold drinks and comfortable seats, simply made us feel at home. The rest of the stay was similarly perfect. I... More
