Very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. Secure on property parking and a very friendly staff. Nice large rooms, comfortable beds. Good breakfast. This family run hotel welcomes you and reflects the warm hospitality of Italy. Giovanna speaks many languages and she is most helpful, friendly and charming.

The hotel is used as a base by a UK bike tour specialist. It has a large car park and safe bike storage as well as a large swimming pool which i think is solar heated only. The rooms are basic but very clean. We were given a room on an external mezzanine which had a terrace with a views... More

Having read other reviews on this Hotel but not knowing the area we were hoping for something special - and we certainly weren't disappointed ! From our first point of contact and throughout our stay we were made to feel as though nothing would be too much trouble. Giovanna speaks very good English and her husband is very friendly. The... Our flight times were changed so we told Giovanna we would be a lot later then previously said. She was very friendly and enthusiastic even at midnight! It was a lovely feeling after a flight to have such a nice welcoming. Our room was big and basic. It included a single and a double bed, a wardrobe, dresser, chairs and... More

Its no wonder a certificate of excellence has been awarded to this hotel as the reviews are spot on. We stayed here for a week in June and it was simply heaven. This is a privately owned hotel in a peaceful but active village which is perfect for those seeking a quiet break. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spacious clean rooms, big towels, comfy beds. The gardens and pool are a delight but the real bloom is Giovanna who... More

I recently started and finished a self guided cycle trip around Tuscany organised by skedaddle from the Albergo Roma. Claudia the owner met us at reception and in her perfect English welcomed us and assisted in every way possible. It was a joy to return there on the conclusion of the trip. I would recommend this hotel without reservation .... More

Cant comment on price or value for money, because my visit was arranged by a tour company and included in the tour price. However, this was a charming, typically Italian hotel with very attentive and enthusiastic staff. The lady on reception in particular was always happy to help with anything and the local spa water must work, because she was... More

I read reviews about this hotel and its staff and I was a bit sceptical, but, they were all correct. Albergo Roma is just perfect. The building is steeped in history, the staff, especially Giovanna, are lovely. It's not a hotel for party animals. The guests are, in the main senior citizens, visiting the Terme. The hotel is peaceful, beautifully... More
