Didn't know what to expect but had spent lots of time in Italy before. The setting was great but hospitality was even better. The cooking and sightseeing were fun but best of all we came back rested and relaxed and that was due to the owner and staff's planning and execution.

Ditto to the 125%!! My wife and I were also part of the same group with Richard and his wife. What a great week spending time with new friends both in our group and with the folks at Palazzo Tour d’Eau. The only thing I knew before going on the trip was that we were going to spend a week... More

The views in Carunchio are stunning. From the Palazzo you have a 360degree panoramic view right out of a renaissance painting. The Palazzo is a constant cool temperature due to its stone structure and high ceilings. Bring a sweater or light jacket for evenings in spring. Rooms are spacious and so are private bathrooms. Beds are firm but comfy. Don't bring... More

We were with Richard's group (125%) and he summed up our experiences perfectly. It was a wonderful experience and my husband wasn't so sure he would like a "cooking school". He had fun anyway! We all did!

We just finished an exceptional week with Massimo and his staff. We were part of a group of 25 from the Southern United States. The experience exceeded our expectations by at least 125% because it is so much more than a cooking school. It is an immersion week in the life of the Abruzzo Region, an area that does not... More

Abruzzo is the perfect setting for this cooking school experience, because the Abruzzi treat food with the respect it deserves. Massimo and Company are first class guides to the Italian cooking and food experience, and the restored castle should be on all traveler's bucket list.

There are not enough stars to rate the experience here in Carunchio. This was our second time here to the Palazzo and the cooking school. Why? Because it is truly the most fun vacation ever. They know how to teach you to cook the most incredible Italian dishes, make you feel special and show you what the "real" Italy is... More

This was one of the best weeks I have spent in Italy. The accommodations were great, the scenery was spectacular, and the staff could not have been better! The Abruzzo cooking school gets an A+. Can't wait to go back!

My college roommate (in the 70"s) and I decided it was time to fulfill our study abroad dream 40 years after graduation. This time instead of traveling with a knapsack and $20 in our pockets we brought suitcases with wheels and our husbands. What a great experience - even our husbands who don't cook and had turned up their noses... More

Our week at the Palazzo Tour d'Eau proved to exceed any expectations we had when we signed up for this amazing tour. Everything about the week was spectacular from the views, the classes, the food, the Palazzo, the places we visited, but more importantly: the people. Massimo, Chef Dino and the rest of the staff made this trip to Italy... More
