Our week at the Palazzo Tour d'Eau proved to exceed any expectations we had when we signed up for this amazing tour. Everything about the week was spectacular from the views, the classes, the food, the Palazzo, the places we visited, but more importantly: the people. Massimo, Chef Dino and the rest of the staff made this trip to Italy... More

Where do I start? My mother bought this for her and I to go on for my birthday. We've both been to Rome, but never visited outside of the city. Carunchio is a postcard perfect little town, clinging to the side of a mountain, with amazing views. The restored "palace" is done with such style! The room we had was... More

The Palazzo is a lovingly restored 18th century building at the top of the beautiful mountain town of Carunchio. The views were reason enough to make the trip, but there was so much more! Kristina and Massimo were our hosts and they were joined by a fantastic staff that went way out of their ways to make all of us... More

I was there for a week last June and fell in love with Massimo and all the folks who help to make it an amazing experience, I am headed back in two weeks with enough friends to fill the entire palace. When my neighbors who went with me last time came back to our little town and told others about... More

My trip to Palazzo Tour D’Eau in Carunchio, Italy was a birthday gift from my wife. A nice gift and, as far as I knew, it was an opportunity to attend a “cooking school” in the Abruzzo region of Italy—a part of Italy I had never been to. Plain and simple. Little did I know, but quickly came to realize... More

My cousin and I found a Groupon and since we both like to cook decided to take the A taste of Abruzzo Culinary Vacation. We were picked up right on time at the Rome airport. When we arrived they staff was waiting with appetizers and wine. Kristina was wonderful. After learning what was in store for the evening we were... More

My Mother and I visited this enchanting Palazzo the 3rd week of April. We are not even back in the states yet! We started the week being hosted by Christina and then her incredibly handsome and all engaging brother, Massimo, hosted the better part of the week. Their team, Dino, Sara, Graciamo and newly anointed Ashley were the best! The... More

The staff at this hotel are wonderful! The owner, Massimo is the perfect host, he took us to the town of Dogliola where my grandfather is from. It was wonderful to send picture home to my cousins and show them the small town where we have such great history The food was great and fun to make. We will return... More

We spent the first week of November with Christina et al at "The Palace," and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more....The staff, from Christina to Dino & Cheryl to Graciamo and Sara and Davida were all incredibly warm, helpful, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about all things Italy! We (12 couples) had four "classes" where we spent several hours preparing/then eating... More

The Palazzo Tour d'Eau is billed as a cooking school, and you do learn a fair amount about the cuisine of Abruzzo and how to prepare several dishes. But it is not a hard-core chef's school experience. Instead, it is a fun, anyone can do it week of excellent food, sightseeing and learning hosted by the friendliest staff anyone could... More
