My husband and I were part of the group from US and Canada that were there the last week of August. I am in total agreement with all of the comments made by Rod and others. The palace was beautiful, Carunchio was charming, Christina was an exceptional hostess/tour guide, and Dino and Cheryl were amazing cooking instructors. The staff were... More

My husband and I spent a week at Palazzo Tour d'Eau cooking and eating amazing food, making new friends and touring the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had views across the valleys to other villages (request room #5!). Dino, our cooking instructor, was patient, thorough and full of good humor. Our host, Massimo, made certain we were... More

We had the most memorable time at Palazzo Tour d'Eau the last week of August with Cristina as our hostess. We were so fortunate to have a fantastic group of people from the US and Canada to spend the week with and the fit was great, we bonded instantly. I must say that I agree with everything that the previous... More

There were so many things that were PERFECT about this trip that I don't know where to start....maybe at the top!....Christina ! Ask her for ANYTHING and she was on it...any time of day... she was there to make sure our time at the Palazzo was fantastic and she succeeded beyond anyone's level of expectation! The group we were in... More

I returned from Carunchio weeks ago but I had to write this review, especially given the fact that I was a solo female traveller. Everything was a dream..from the palazzo itself, to our gracious hosts and caretakers, Cristina, Massimo, Antonio, Teresa and DIno. Getting to stay at this beautiful property on this hill with so much history and being made... More

We were lucky enough to have the very elegant and sophisticated Christina as our host. She could not have done more to make our stay magical. When we wanted do dine outdoors, although not what she was planning, she immediately arranged it. When one of the guests became ill, she not only arranged for a doctor to see the guest,... More

The Palazzo is a good vacation but it behooves the prospective traveler to find out who is in charge the week you plan to attend the cooking school. If Cristina is “el comandante,” you might want to switch to a week when her brother Massimo is in charge. Here’s why: Cristina is all business -- a “trains run on time”... More

I am so sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. We have taken such pride in knowing that ALL of our guests have had nothing short of an amazing time when they visit here. This is the first time we have heard of this type of complaint and the staff and I are shocked! We really hope you will... More

An absolutely extraordinary experience! Our visit and cooking lesson at the beautiful Palazzo Tour d'Eau was definitely one of the greatest highlights of our trip to Italy. We were not available for the complete week culinary tour, but we were able to join in on one of the cooking classes. Our very charming chef, Dino was excellent. We learned a... More

To say that we loved this trip would be putting it lightly. This was one of the highlights of our 32 year marriage! We have traveled to a lot of places and done many things, but being a part of this wonderful week will always bring great feelings and memories to mind. We cannot say enough fabulous things about the... More

Everyone else will tell you about the food and the cooking classes as well as the tours. And they were "to die for". But I'm going to hit on other things about the trip that made it so special to me. This was my first experiment traveling alone since I became a widow. The shuttle bus picked us up four... More
