We stayed at the hotel over the long Easter weekend. It is located about 25 mins drive from Como and easy to find. The first views are impressive, especially walking over the small drawbridge to get to the reception area. This is what a castle is all about! I really enjoy the old castles and this one did not dissapoint. As long as you're not expecting a 5 star room you'll be good. Beautiful grounds and friendly helpful staff. The rooms had everything we needed, not luxurious but comfortable and clean. The area is a great destination for a romantic relaxing weekend.

Stayed here 2 nights. Had a "dungeon" room not a balcony room. The room was however comfortable and clean. This is a fascinating hotel with intimate nooks here and there and exceptional grounds. This would be a great venue for a conference or a wedding. The front office staff are very friendly and do their best but they are undermanned.... More
