recently stayed for 2 nights on a KGB deal. friendly welcome by bar staff and shown to bedroom 2 a large comfortable room with all accessories. Excellent 2 course pub meal which included a pork roast. Reasonable priced local drinks in clean tidy surroundings. If you like a cooked breakfast you will not be disappointed. This was a second visit to The Wheatsheaf for my wife and I. We really like Corbridge itself, small and picturesque, with mellow buildings in vernacular materials and style. There are plenty of shops for all conveniences and luxuries, with local butchers, greengrocers and an excellent bakery specialising in huge meringues. You are spoilt for choice for dining in cafes,... More

Stayed here for first night of a Hadrian's wall holiday. Nicely situated in this picturesque small town. Friendly welcome. Excellent newly decorated rooms. Typical pub food in the restaurant with good service. Limited vegetarian choice.

Looking for a overnight stay & drove past luckily they had a spare room. Safe & secure barriered car park as on street parking in Corbridge is a nightmare. Excellent food in Conservatory with good views of the open countryside, good beer and service. Pleasant local walks by the river. Hearty breakfast.

We have stayed here a few times and have no complaints. It's a friendly, well run hotel and we keep going back. The rooms are tastefully decorated and it's not overpriced for a touristy area like Corbridge. For a town centre hotel it's pretty quiet. We weren't disturbed much at all by the traffic.

This is a tired hotel with not much good about it. The room was pretty cramped and there were no facilities or space to dry our clothes after a very wet day. Breakfast was an uninspiring fry up - nothing to compare with the other B&Bs we stayed on the route. I would not go back there.

The team of people who work hard to make this business successful give you a warm welcome on arrival and the friendliness continues throughout the visit. Room 6 was big with ample tea and coffee making facilities and flat screen TV. Was quite warm but there is a large fan in the room. prices were higher then other similar places... More
