Me and a colleague were working up in the area and staying in a local B & B. Asked the landlady about this place and told us that the food was good and he looked after his beer(sounded good to me). Walked in the first night to greeted by the landlord(Dino), the bar is old worldly but nice plenty of... More

Super location, 5 minute walk from the centre of corbridge. Nice size room, room 6. Very clean super comfy bed, quiet. Excellent breakfast simple check in and out.Highly recommend. We'll be back. Next time I'll certainly want to try the menu, food look first class.

Note: I ate here but did not stay overnight. This pub served excellent food cooked by a skilled chef who cared not only about producing quality food but also presenting it in a tasteful way that is typically lacking at most pubs (e.g., colorful greens/vegetables served with fish and chips). I was very impressed, and the prices were no more... More

We were pleased with our room (though small) and its smart, newish bathroom. Our breakfast was poor because we do not eat 'full English' breakfasts and they don't have much else to offer: just toast from sliced bread and marmalade/jam and a very cheap muesli with no 'bits'. We might have had eggs but were told they were not free-range.... More

We three wives of three fishermen had a lovely stay with Gino at The Dyvels Inn. This is a small and comfortable pub/hotel. The place is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious, with top quality ingredients (including home made black pudding when we were there). There is a good choice of home made food with smaller portions available in the bar.... We stayed here for one night after a day running at Kielder. The staff very extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast home cooked and delicious. What more can you ask from a pub B&B.

We were 3 men looking for a room with 3 single beds. The manager assured me on the phone that he had this and could accommodate us. When we arrived we found that the room was a double and a single ! We asked to see the manager and were kept standing there waiting for half an hour. Eventually my... More

having been in different inn accomodation all over Britain this at the price has to be one of the best value Some reviewers seem to expect the same value as a 4 star hotel and nit pick about little silly things here but for size of room, cleanliness, comfort, food, and staff[owners] this is hard to beat

On arrival - luckily met someone on the stairs - she didn't know about my booking - lucky I had printed out or booking slip. Room was fine - bathroom excellent - TV antique and unusable if you didn't know the settings for the decoder. The free Wi Fi didn't have a strong enough signal to reach room on the... More

The Dyvels is 6 minutes walk from the centre of Corbridge and is a good, unspoiled pub with reasonable food. The gardens are really pleasant on a hot evening. The pub is just 20 metres from the famour Valley Indian restaurant - we sometimes meet at the Dyvels for a pre-dinner drink and then toddle off for a curry ...... More
