“Good traditional Logis with disappointing food.”

We have stayed here once before and found the stay really enjoyable with memorable food so decided to stay for two nights whilst touring the area during August 2011. The rooms offer basic traditional French comfort and whilst a little out-dated offer a reasonable nights sleep. We did not plan to stay in the village, only stopped by to have dinner -- and the food was so perfect, the wine so well matched, that we asked the staff (which was very welcoming and friendly) if we could have a room. The room was well-appointed, with a lovely view of the river, and worth so much more... More

After searching to no avail for a room in Abli following the tour de France, the Ibis pointed us in the direction of hotel du pont in Ambialet and we were so grateful they did. We arrived tired (and a bit fractious) to be met at our car and shown to our room so we could be sat for dinner... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while on a walking tour of southwest france. Extremely warm, welcoming, and friendly staff, amazing food, beautiful patio and inside dining room. Bedrooms are small, as is to be expected in small European B&Bs, but the location (right on the river), food, and grounds make it all worth it. I speak only a little... More
