Stayed here with my family on our way to Berlin. The grounds are fantastic and the castle seems to be that of a knight based on the coat of arms. This is a comfortable hotel I can recommend to anyone. The rooms are comfortable and modern with a touch of character of the old castle. The restaurant is excellent. There is a nice, walled in park at the back of the castle for jogging, walking or just sitting and reading outside. There is also plenty of parking. Add to this...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and a nice resturant. Our room was very big (the bathroom was the size of a ordinary hotel room). Nice surrondings with the park and possibillitys to go for a run on the fields east of Schkopau. A lot of interesting places within reach by car.
