Our room had been recently renovated and far exceeded our expectations. Large tub, dual sinks, comfortable beds and a late check-in was not an issue. Breakfast was included and was very ample. Service was excellent! A little out of the way, but great value if you are staying in the area!

I stayed here last year and decided to stay again on my trip across Germany. I had enjoyed my last visit and was pleasantly surprised to see that there had been some improvements since then. The rooms are spacious and clean, as before, but the bathrooms have improved dramatically with lovely showers and modern basins etc. On my return journey... More

A three bedroom suite with brand new bathroom for less than €100. The children loved the frescos and the rainfall shower and the beds were very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was good value with huge portions and breakfast was fantastic. Would stay again and it makes a great stopping place on the way to the Alps.

We stayed on our way through. Reception was very friendly, we were shown to a spacious family room with a sofa bed on the first floor at the front. It had a good size modern shower room, clean but slightly shabby and diy. There was a balcony but this needed tidying and some maintenance. There was a seating area and... More

We stayed at this guesthouse to and from our family ski trip to Austria last December. The guesthouse was busy on both occasions and for good reason. Our family room was spacious with lovely furnishings and a recently refurbished shower room. We had a queen size bed with two separate children's beds. There was a flat screen television which we... This is a traditional German guesthouse which caters for families well. Rooms within the room are spacious and organised to make putting young children to bed easier as they have their 'own' room. There is also an outdoor beer garden with toys, bikes, a trampoline, swings and slides, ideal for children to burn of energy after a day on the... More

We stayed here on our way to Hungary. The staff were excellent and the hotel is very quaint. The rooms were fine although they could probably do with a bit of a spruce up - some tiles loose in the bathroom and just slightly shabby. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was very good indeed. I would recommend... More

We booked a family room and were given a fabulous refurbished room with enormous corner sofa, flat screen tv, wifi, minibar, super kingside bed, two bunk beds and a wonderful bathroom. Dinner in the hotel was lovely - cosy, intimate and friendly and a good choice. Would have preferred a 7.30 breakfast rather than 8.00 but a minor detail. In... More

Travelling as a family, we chose this Guesthouse because it is very good value for the area, and a short drive from Boppard and other sights on the Rhine. The outside of the building and the public areas are definitely in need of a bit of decoration, but the service is friendly and helpful. The family room is very comfortable,clean... More

This small hotel is off the beaten path of those seeking to enjoy the Rhine River. Having a car is a must have if you want to save $ and stay in this hotel. It was ideal for our family of 5 (3 kids under 8). Two separate rooms as well as a large bathroom and living room made up... More
