Nicely positioned just on the French side of the border off the A1/A40 autoroute intersection and only 15 min drive into Geneva, saving a pile of money over hotels on the Swiss side. Nice mountain views (when it's not raining), massive secure car park and very clean and modern throughout. The small pool and garden area within the semicircular layout are little used as most of the guests are congress or business meeting attendees. The multi-lingual staff are friendly and attentive. Food in the restaurant is excellent, although limited in choice and portion size (nouvelle cuisine?) and quite pricey. The big rooms are spotlessly clean and very well appointed, and you can ask at reception for a "plat curtoisie" for making hot drinks in the room. Not much close by on the French side of the border in the way of entertainment, shops or restaurants without driving into St Julien.
