We stayed at the Cavalier D'Arpino as part of a very large group for a family wedding held in the Hotel's garden. I'd recommend it to anyone travelling to Arpino as a place to stay in the town. Service - The service was excellent - the staff knew who we were and which rooms we were in. They helped out... More

Stayed here as part of a very large party for a family wedding. The hotel is set in stunning grounds in a very pretty town which you would not normally visit but I'm sure lots of us will be back! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were always clean and the continental breakfast was plentiful and... More

Stunning place, so much history in small little haven of a town. The hotel was built in 16th century. Wow?!! Wifi is super flimsy and slow but well...you dont come here for wifi. Leave your key when you leave the hotel, buzz in when you get back. They know your names, your room and everything in between. Obviously, this town hasn't... More

What a great little gem! So nice, large rooms, very clean and great location. Note almost everything in town is closed on Mondays. They have a large selection for breakfast and are very accommodating. Note that we had to leave by 730am and the gate where our car was was locked so plan ahead bc we were frantically looking for... I stayed at this hotel from 21st to 30th December, 2012 with my wife and mother, the experience of which gave all of us unforgettable memories of our trip. The building of rich history and its elegant interior decorations gave luxurious feelings, but at the same time, the staff's friendly and heart-warming service made us feel at home. Amenities are... Il Cavalier d'Arpino is a grand hotel, with gorgeous views from the rooms and elegant and comfortable furnishings. We were ecstatic to be given a corner room, immaculately clean, with a wonderful bed, and great bathroom, not to mention a refrigerator and excellent large breakfast. The landings and reading/lounge areas were lovely, as was the garden behind the hotel. The... More

My family and I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in July 2012. That was very nice stay: both hotel and the town impressed us and we believe that we'll return there very soon. For our next stay for sure we'll choose this place. 1. The location - perfect, was marked in my Sygic GPS (iPad version), was found... More

This family run hotel is situated in the hilltop town of Arpino, with breathtaking views from the rooms and the windows on all of the landings of the hotel. The rooms were very large, clean, updated, and air-conditioned. The rest of the hotel is just as lovely, from the sitting areas on the landings from which windows can be opened... More

A nice hotel in the most beautiful of Italian towns. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very tasty indeed. The outdoor terrace is really pleasant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They could do with serving tea and cake though in the afternoon. It would be a very nice place to have a wedding as... More

An elegantly renovated 16th century wool mill, the Hotel Il Cavalier D'Arpino is located in the historic centre of Arpino, birthplace of Cicero. Set in a strategic location between Rome and Naples, the city of Arpino, Orange Flag of Touring Club Italy, is surrounded by rolling hills and lush countryside. Dating back to the 7th century, the city is rich in history and offers you a trip back in time. The hotel offers elegantly appointed rooms with all the modern amenities, yet in the "arte povera" style recreating the welcoming atmosphere and grandure of a recidence of its original epoch. The tastefully decorated halls and its adjacent park are the perfect setting for wedding receptions, special ceremonies and gala events of all types. At the same time the Cavalier D'Arpino offers a restful and relaxing holiday in a setting of ancient and modern art and culture further enhanced by its secular park which provides its patrons hours of pleasant walks or quiet time sitting on one of its quaint benches to meditate and reflect on the myriad beauties of nature...
