Hotel very nice, clean, beautiful terrace to enjoy a peaceful aperitif and nice swimming pool. I found the staff particularly friendly, professionnal, smily and talkative. I would like to thank them again for their warm welcome, Brooke, Peter, Philippo and others whose names I don't know. Although the weather was not great the staff were so nice and so was... More

OK, if you want to stay a long time in your room, this hotel is not your thing (room is just large enough for sleeping and refreshing yourself). But if you want to enjoy - the wonderful surroundings of the lake Orta and the lake Maggiore - a nice refreshing swim - a drink (or two) on the large terrace... More

This is a fairly new hotel in a good location for visiting the lakes of Maggiore and Orta. The hotel itself is modern with lots of outdoor space, including a nice swimming pool with plenty of loungers. The kitchen is especially good for simple Italian food served at lunchtime, we found that the evening meal was rather heavy for our... More

What a team, what a service ! This is a very charming hotel with an excelling team. Nice and very convenient. Perfectly fit between lago d'Orta and lago Maggiore. The restaurant team is so friendly and willing to help you discovering the local, typical drinks and specialties. Maitre Philippo is an ambassador for his team and presented us every night... More

My boyfriend and I were at this gorgeous hotel from 30JUN-8JUL 2013. We can really recommend it! The staff is ALWAYS friendly and try to help with a sincere wish in giving you a great stay. From the reception with: Marco, Claudia, Miriam and another guy whose name I don't remember, to the restaurant with the amazing maitre Filippo and... More

This is a hotel of a very high standard about 3 miles from Lake Orta. The accommodation, facilities, restaurant food etc are top class. All staff are very friendly and professional. Immaculately clean in all areas the hotel is good value for money. There is little in the immediate area of the hotel, so a car is pretty much essential

We slept in this hotel the last night of our great week in Italia. Cause it had 4 stars we thought we treated ourself with a pleasant stay but what a joke this hotel is. We paid quit some money so you also expect something. The hotel is right on a busy road which makes a lot of noise. Second... More

I came back after 6 years, now with my girlfriend, and I was delighted to find that the hotel is always a top-level one and, moreover, that it has improved in many aspects since my last stay. For example, in the meanwhile, the swimming-pool is full operative and the dining space is much wider. Moreover, the surrounding hills have been... More

As always the italians were welcoming and helpful. Good room quiet location, when the church clock stops at 11. Food good though we could have had more salads. C lean sheets every day! Too much breakfast. L Better than any hotel in Orat San Giulio.

Yearly, I visit the Orta lake region in the Summer time. Although the area is absolutely stunning, I have always been a little disappointed by the few existing hotels around Orta San Giulio. This year I decided to overnight in Armeno at hotel Cortese : its modern and stylish look on the website was very appealing and the information given... More
