We were supposed to stay only one night but at the moment we arrived, we decide to amply another night! The place is amazing, beautiful! The staff is very friendly (overcoat the two english guys!!). We really enjoy our time there. I would recommend to everybody!

We were taken by surprise at this secret jungle spot in the middle of the suburbs! Beautifully laid out with stunning lush jungle vegetation. Stayed in the treehouse which seemed overpriced. Had no hot water. Parking area is terrible though and quite a mission getting our stuff to the room. There are no nearby shops and the communal area was... More

Mantis & Moon is set in a beautiful surrounding and the idea of sleeping in a tree/glass house on stilts is wonderful, however, the lodge is quite strongly overpriced and (as so many visitors have commented before) it is strange to see virtually no locals employed behind the desk/bar. All in all a great stay (if you enjoy paying and... More

We stayed in one of the treehouses. Got a good bed and the bathroom facilities were allright. Staff is really friendly! Our treehouse was close to the bar area, so there was a little noice. Unfortunatly they turned up the volume really loud at 00:30 (same song over and over) which made sleeping a little impossible. That was the only... More

Beautiful location, friendly staff and great concept but organization of the place is terrible. Tried to book any double room and was told it was fully booked only to find out later that it wasn't but had already booked a dorm with friends. So now I will be spending my birthday week sharing a bunk bed with my boyfriend. Not... More

Absolutely loved this place! Staff is friendly, everything is well organized and clean, lots of activities, pool is rad, beach close, love the jungle and all the green. Only thing I would change is to free the birds that are in the cages. But def my favorite backpackers up to date.

Pros: 1. Lovely jungle garden with great range of plants and visiting monkeys 2. Birds, rabbits and dogs are all around 3. Close to beach 4. Good security 5. Dedicated nice Yoga area Cons: 1. The food and drink offering was poor (although this was being re-stocked) 2. Mosquito net was too small with holes (room was not sealed so... More

Amazing. Great. Such an experience.... me and my friend slept in one of the tree houses. The linen and metric were comfy, we could hear monkeys jumping on the roof. How cool. The setting of the whole backpacker is in the jungle and guides you to your cottage by a wooden pathway. There is plenty of random decoration, a bar... More

Really great backpackers, always clean, super safe and really great staff. Note that the staff operate like a family to an extent, so don't expect anyone to take your crap, its not the Ritz; that said, you will be looked after if you treat everyone with respect and generally stay cool and that, well that's just awesome! I highly recommend... More

This backpacker is very unusual but in a positive way, the staff is friendly and the beach close to it is just wonderful. You can chose between many different accomodations, we can recommend the tree houses. They also have a wonderful yoga room, we can highly recommend to take a yoga class. They have a lot of big dogs which... More
