We stayed at this hotel for one night, and we were very pleased with the service, the cleanliness, the comfort. The room had a view to the mountains, and it was really lovely. There were plenty of toiletries, and also a tray for making coffee in the room (no tea, though). The price was good, and it also included breakfast.

It is an old hotel, good for the travelers which have no other option. The furniture is old, and also the cleaning of the room is made just from time to time.If you come with a car, be carefull. There is no guarded parking, and some of my friens have problem with the thives. The car was stolen, but they received... More

We spent there one nigh on our way to Greece, the hotel seems to e refurbished recently, but ot really finished, reception looked messy, some cables and plastic bags hanging behind, old doors on the hallways, etc. To access the elevator you need to climb a few steps - bit difficult when you have luggage, also not wheel chair friendly.... Located in the main square, the location really could not be better. Hotel Rila is a long-standing establishment in Dupnitsa - the old Stanke Dimitrov - and a place I always knew I would visit one day, in connection with a spare-time interest. Enjoyed it too, the staff on Reception could not have been more helpful and the room I... More

I had not read up on this hotel before going. It was late and passing through Dupnitsa we needed a room for the night and we saw this hotel. It looked fine for a nights sleep and a swift exit in the morning......big mistake! For starters this hotel is very big but only has one very small lift so it... More

Hotel Rila in Dupnitsa is overpriced and underserved facility. Not at all worht using. There are much better options both in dupnitsa and in Blagoevgrad onæy 25 minutes away. However Dupnitsa is well worth visiting as it still preserves many of the good traditions and qualities of Bulgaria that might not be as easy to find in Sofia. Dupnitsa is... More
