Rats running around car park, not for light sleepers. Rooms are very close to a very busy island on a1 which was unfortunately subject to overnight works making sleep impossible. ##do not fall into trap of pre purchasing wifi - it would not work - I was given various access vouchers all of which would not work BUT they will... not much sleep, this was a very noisy place, even people walking down the corridor were very loud as no sound reduction to carpets etc we were also unfortunately there when major road works were being done during the night right outside our window, and with no double glazing a very sleepless night

If you want to compete with a rat to get through the front door, this is the travelodge for you. Receptionist unmoved implying this was an everyday occurrence ! I am a farmer and dont mind rats, but best keep them out of hotels as they carry a serious disease warning. A Travelodge to avoid

Thank you for your feedback. We were concerned to learn that rats have been sighted around the external areas of the hotel. Our Hotel Manager has taken measures to ensure that the external areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and a professional pest control company have visited our hotel to resolve this issue. More

Clean airy rooms. Think this may be one of the hotels that had been done out with new pillows and mattresses. Friendly staff. Little Chef on site. Was surprised that although situated on a very busy main road traffic island the noise from this was not as bad as expected.

I booked ahead and stayed for one night for £30 inc £5 boxed breakfast (just cereal, muffins etc) A little pricey so if you want to get something cooked there's a Little Chef right next door. I went before the renovations and it was clean and tidy with wonderful hospitality but the gentleman on duty who had done a long... More

I stayed on night at this hotel on business. This was a ground floor disabled room with a busy pathway right along outside of the window - there are no net curtains! This meant for any privacy I needed to sit with the curtains closed. It could be planned that way so that you don't see that the carpets are... More

It's the least that can be provided for the most money for it. Breakfast boxes are sugar laden lard events at five pounds which is laughable. Staff are paid minimal which provides a minimal response to customers. Usual travel lodge awfulness

Recently refurbished, this Travelodge is exceptionally clean and tidy. Rooms spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. A good, inexpensive place to stay if exploring the various areas around Cambridgeshire. Easy access to all the main A roads.

If you like to be wakened up between 3am & 5am on a Fri & Sat night then this is place. Not only can you be treated to noise outside they all move inside, shouting, swearing & banging on bedroom doors!.
