Just stayed one night for my partners 30th birthday while we were boarding at Glenshee. We arrived tired & wet from the hill and were met with a very clean, cosy large room and bathroom and were able to hang all our gear in the drying room so it was ready for the next day. A hot bath and cup... More

We've just returned from a two night stay here. We received such a warm welcome from Chris and Danny who were so friendly and helpful. Our room (No.3) was a tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious room with huge bed; the bathroom had a big shower with plenty of hot water and excellent lighting. We enjoyed freshly cooked breakfasts and delicious... More

Just back from a 2 night stay here. Spacious bedroom with a huge comfortable double bed. Very good sized bathroom too. Lovely little pub downstairs with real fire. The couple who own the hotel couldn't have been nicer. Tasty breakfast each morning. 25 mins or so drive to go to get to Pitlochry. Would happily come back here again.

Stayed here whilst visiting the Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry. Very clean hotel with friendly staff and delicious food. You really need to be a fan of the countryside to stay here though as it is very isolated and takes 20 mins to get there from Pitlochry along a narrow, windy road with free roaming sheep! Stayed in the family room... More

This was our 3rd visit to this lovely hotel. We were given a warm welcome on arrival which made us feel good to be back! We were last here 2 years ago and the changes are obvious, for instance new bathroom suite in room 2 where we were staying, alterations to the breakfast area enabling use a function room when... We have just had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners Danny and Chris. We were taxied to the start and end of our Cateran Trail walks every day. The food was good and the breakfasts really set us up for the day. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with a... More

Danny and Chris are very welcoming and we enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel while we walked the Cateran Trail. We stayed in the Family Room - which is large and was spotless. It does not have a bathtub - but has a lovely clean bathroom. We had a great view over the bridge in Kirkmichael from our... More

Thank you so much for your wonderfully positive comments. I am so sorry that you could hear music upstairs. We had a party of "carers" in for an evening meal that night and we were trying to create a bit of jolly atmosphere for them. They asked if we could turn the music up for them. It is my fault... We stayed here on the first day hiking on the Cateran trail and were completely exhausted on arrival. Kirkmichael hotel was easy to find as the town is so small and we just walked through into the bar. Although we had to rush and didn't have time to settle in before dinner as the chef had to leave early, we... More
