My wife and I visted the hotel a number of times to eat and found it to be excellent! There are some fantastic walks in the area so if you enjoy the outdoors this is a great place to stay or simply to visit for great food!

The Strathardle is magic, we approached at night and we were greeted by the warm glow from the windows and an even warmer welcome. Great rooms, warm comfortable and a big bed. Great little bar, which had a locals darts match going on, so some top atmosphere. Fantastic meal in the restaurant. Definitely planning a return trip.
The Strathardle Inn catered for us at lunchtime today providing lunch for eleven including two small children. The service was superb, the menu simple and appealing. The food was superb with all items being chosen by someone around the table and top marks to all. A number of desserts were also enjoyed - all home made, fresh and delicious.

We never stayed here and only stopped for lunch en-route to Pitlochry. Must say that it was only because of an online deal that we stopped by but we will 100% call in again when there. We had intended to go for lunch on return home as was very good value but breakfast that we had in Pitlochry put paid...

We had an overnight stay here and had both dinner and breakfast during our visit. Our room was airy, light, clean and warm (see pics). The en suite was large with great bath and shower facilities - we couldn't have hoped for better. We knew the establishment had earned Michelin star status for its food, so we had dinner there...

We stayed at this Inn and was pleasantly surprised on arrival. It was nice and welcoming with lovely open fires glowing in both the Bar and Restaurant. On inspecting the evening meals menu we booked our table for that evening as it really did sound very appetizing. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a modern toilet and great shower(no...

Food was at best ok chain pub quality and very overpriced the bar man is miserable in the extreme no smile or attempt to engage with customers. If you can i'd eat elsewhere. We didnt stay so cannot comment on anything else.
We didn't stay here but we did sample the bar and restaurant.
The bar is nice and homely with a nice open fire. Good range of drinks.
However, the food was way overpriced and, to be honest, not the best quality. I had a starter of strips of duck which were hard to find (there weren't many!). My wife's starter...

This was just the place after a day's skiing at nearby Glenshee. It's a welcoming inn, with roaring fires in both the bar and the restaurant. Previous reviewer found a lot to dislike in room 3, but having just stayed in it, I can confirm that it has now been newly redecorated. The bathroom is not so modish, but is...

We were in room three which is honestly stuck in a bad 70s sitcom. decor was horrendous, the bed was uncomfortable, the heating...
