Had a wonderful time here- unfortunately we could only stay one night as it would have been lovely to stay here for longer. The room was beautiful, we had lovely stretching views and woke up to the sound of birdsong and bleating lambs- bliss! The breakfast was lovely and peaceful and you're made to feel very welcome. Thanks to Sally!... More

This beautiful B&B is set off the beaten track in lovely gardens and a view for miles. If you want a quiet get away, this is the place for you. Sally, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was lovely, comfy & well stocked with tea, coffee etc & even had a little fridge. Breakfast... More

Tucked away down a quiet country lane, this fine B&B lived up to all expectations for our two night stay. Chosen on the basis of favourable Trip Advisor reviews, it did not disappoint - owner Sally provides home comforts in a character filled house dating back to the 16th century, set in well tended extensive grounds with views of surrounding... There are rare times when you find a real gem. Almost at the end of a very narrow country lane you come across this amazing property. No fanfare. No bright lights and flags. Just the most perfect setting overlooking the valley. Invariably, you will arrive at or near sunset, and you won't be in a rush to find your room.... More

Reviewed this B&B back in March 2010, giving it an "excellent" rating, and it is every bit as good now. Just as welcoming with it's beautiful rooms and excellent breakfasts. The only difference being our poor elderly Golden Retriever needed a "bunk up" to manage the stairs this time ! A lovely break.

I recently booked a one night stay in Cleavers Lyng after reading various good reviews on trip advisor; I can see why most people had rated it so highly. It was made even more special by the owner upgrading me to the balcony room for no extra charge; the room was lovely, nice king size bed, and you wake up... More

All the things are absolutely positive about this place, you have a peaceful location, fantastically decorated rooms, with a lot of authentic furniture, comfy bedding; this is accompanied with the living rooms to relax outside of your room, very cosy and offering some board-games shall you wish to play in the evening. The standard of facilities is very high, the... More

We stayed for 2 nights, a weekend away treat for us away from the children. Wow. What an amazing place! Sally was lovely, couldn't do enough for us. We walked in and were immediately made to feel very welcome. We were shown to our room and given details of various places to eat. The breakfast was superb. Great choice and... More

Went back for our wedding anniversary and was a lovely break. Bed was very comfortable and slept very well. Breakfast was yummy and filled us up for the day. Sally was very friendly and we even got to say hello to Tina the dog. Lovely gardens although the weather didn't allow us to enjoy them. Nice place to sit for... More
