The Neeld Arms is a wonderful find in a beautiful village. It is a good old fashioned pub with plenty of character. The staff are lovely and could not have been any more helpful. It is in a beautiful location. We had fabulous food from a very good varied menu. There were also specials on certain days. It is well... More

Lovely family orientated hotel, with an excellent menu. My daughter and I visited today for Sunday lunch, we had my 4 week old granddaughter, who was welcomed as if she was dining too :) The meals were excellent and beautifully presented. Freshly prepared with fresh tasty vegs. Definitely on my list of places to visit again next time I'm in... More

We have been coming here regularly for lunch with friends for several years. The food has always been reliably good and the service excellent and friendly, but recently it has improved so that it now rates as gastro-pub as far as the four of us are concerned. Today we had whole sea- bass beautifully cooked with pesto and prawns, and... More

This is a really pleasant country pub with friendly service and a good menu with a wide choice. I visited during a lunch time and the special board had a tempting choice. The steak and kidney pie with a pint for £10 was very tempting but as time was limited I had a delicious Ciabatta with bacon, brie and redcurrant... More

Excellent food and service in this pub. Beautifull village and so much character. Very welcoming staff, very resonable wine list. The chicken stuffed with Chorizo was particularly nice Would lovely to come again and maybe stay or the weekend. Only a few minutes from Badminton

Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food and the owners and staff could not have been more welcoming. We hadn't booked but nothing was too much trouble and we had a brilliant time. We will definitely go back.

I was traveling with my son to an event at Castle Combe Circuit, something we do on a regular basis. knowing the area a quick bit of research brought up the Neeld arms. We usually use Premier inns but thought we would try something different for a change. We booked a twin room for 1 night. Arrival was fine and... More

I dont like to leave 'poor' reviews, but the experience my partner an I had was so disappointing. Reading a few review we decided to book here for lunch. We were ask for our drinks order, shown a blackboard menu and a snack menu, then left to our own devices. The barman turned his back on us and conversed with... More

We popped in here for lunch as we were passing by. There were limited lunch options but we only really wanted a sandwich so that suited us. I had a cheese and pickle ciabbata. The cheddar was good quality but the pickle was branston so a bit disappointing. The salad was nice and fresh with a good dressing. Overall it... More
