Came here for lunch with large party after a Christening. Charming landlord, friendly staff and excellent food for large party. Roast Beef was cooked perfectly and great atmosphere in pub. Highly recommended.

We didn't know what to expect when we arrived but felt immediately welcomed by the landlord and -lady who offered and negotiated a good vegetarian option to the otherwise local and traditional meat dishes. The cook seemed flexible and creative. Our room was clean & warm and whilst I would choose a more up to date décor, the bed's just... More

Enjoyed a very reasonably priced meal, excellent food and good wine in the restaurant. Been to several pub restaurants in the area around Grittleton but this was one of the best. Thoroughly recommended!

Had dinner on the 10/9/14. I had the pork, husband had the steak, both delicious and steak cook medium rare as requested. Also not expensive. Landlord and staff were friendly and attentive. Pub was busy and lively and had a nice atmosphere. We've had meals here before and we'd definitely eat here again.

...all the reviews on here say this is excellent but I just cannot say it is that good. Stayed here as a stopover and paid £75 for B&B. OK, that's not expensive but it is also more than a Premier Inn. The pub is cosy and friendly, The food is pretty good; not excellent but good enough and not overly... More

Set in one of the most unspoilt villages in Wiltshire, The Neeld Arms caters for all. Whether you fancy a nice pint in a country pub setting, or the best quality food sourced from local ingredients, this is a must visit venue. The owner and Landlord, Charlie, makes everyone feel welcome and all the staff are really friendly and helpful.... More

Stayed here a few days ago. Good country pub well supported by the local community. Good beers and cider - cornish Rattler, on tap. Very good menu board and food served quickly with good local produce. Pie and a pint for £10 - very good value, as were the deserts. Comfy bedroom with typical squeaky floor. Good wholesome breakfast set... More

Just a few minutes off the M4 motorway and well worth the detour. Plenty of parking behind pub and some on the road. Mainly used by local customers who all seemed to know each other and obviously know a good pub. Landlord friendly and beer first rate. We had ploughmans for lunch and we both enjoyed the meal. Really good... More
