We had a one night stop over at this lovely Inn and wished we were staying longer. It was unbelievable good value for money. The staff were lovely and the room big enough for four adults. Breakfast was incredible and we are all still talking about it now! The best breakfast we have ever had in any hotel! We will... More

I have stayed here on a number of occasions and must say how impressed I am with the place, staff and the food. The rooms are traditional and spotlessly clean and there is free wifi. Breakfast is served to you the old fashioned way which is a refreshing change rather than having to queue for a lukewarm buffet. Highly recommended with... More

From start to finish a delicious experience. Food was amazing. You will pay a wee bit more but the freshness and quality is well worth it. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to return.

We booked for dinner and a room and breakfast the next morning. We were in room 6 above the main reception which was a veey nice room with comfortable bed and ticked all the necessary boxes! The three course dinner was simply exquisite, cooked to perfection and delicious and special mention has to go to the attentive staff who were... More

We stayed two nights in this lovely hotel in the Scottish countryside. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed, with very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfasts were fresh and hearty. We also ate our evening meals here which were very satisfying.

We stopped off here for lunch and a drink yesterday. We sat outside . The staff were all very helpful and attentive. The food was amazing. I had the best mushroom risotto ever with lovely fresh asparagus. Partner had beautifully cooked chicken. Food was well presented and of a very high standard. Think we will be back !

Scotland can be a funny place the hardest bit at times can be finding the picture post card place to stay and eat to discover a rural setting nestled into the mountains with deer and wildlife just out side your window in a place you would just love to live. It sounds easy but it's not. When we pulled into... More

Stayed one night and were made most welcome. We were shown to our bedroom rather than just handed the keys - a nice touch. We had a drink in the pleasant bar while waiting for friends to join us and there was a good buzz about the wee hotel. Dinner was excellent, lots of choice and the good was well... More

We stayed at the Tormaukin for a long weekend as we were down watching the bsb racing at knockhill which is only 11 miles away. This was a fantastic find and we will definitely be staying again. After a brilliant day at the racing on the Saturday we arrived ears ringing from the bikes, and were shown to our chalet... More

Having had Subday Lunch at the Tormaukin several times in the past as we had something special to celebrate we decided to return again as it has always been excellent. We were so disappointed on this occasion it really spoilt the occasion. On arriving we were eventually seated and given menus. No one asked if we would like drinks even... More
