This is my second visit to this hotel and I was certainly not disappointed. The hotel is full of character, the staff are fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. The food is excellent and is reasonably priced. We had a fantastic stay and will be back again.

Two of us booked in on recommendation of friends. We found a cosy friendly atmosphere with helpful staff. As the main house was full we stayed in room 14 in the chalet annexe, which was warm, spacious and comfortable. Our breakfasts and evening meals were tasty, plentiful and varied. In fact very good indeed! So a very enjoyable experience in... More

Lovely comfortable chalet room. Nice and warm and nicely decorated. Spacious as we had two dogs with us we needed this. Toilet however made an awful noise which was rather annoying during the night. Breakfast was nice although some items were boiling hot and some lukewarm on the cooked breakfast plate. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would return.

I understand new owners are in situ and was very dissapointed with most aspects of the service provided. My family had 3 seperate rooms for 3 nights, these were comfortable. My tv had no signal and staff were unhelpful, the fault was not rectified. Wifi not working. Bathroom was fine. Breakfast was average, only 1 cup of coffee. Toast for... More

Only stayed one night whilst on the way back home in the North of Scotland. Very warm and welcoming in this cosy hotel. Evening meal excellent, I can well recommend the Ale & beef casserole. Good breakfast to start the day. With having 2 dogs we opted to stay in one of the chalets which are just behind the hotel.... More

My wife and I were here as part of a special weekend. From the moment we arrived the staff met us with their usual warm and inviting smiles and comments. The room was very comfortable, the dining experience was brilliant, the bar well stocked. The team very kindly arranged a limo for us to take us to and return us... More

A lovely warm & inviting inn, with friendly staff who offer excellent service. The food was delicious, we'll presented and worth the slightly higher-than-average prices. Highly recommend way to escape the dreary weather.

Booked this last minute(night before) for a very good price! Staff were very friendly upon arrival, showed us straight to our room. Lovely location, rooms were spacious and very clean, only let down was the 'double bed' which was two single beds pushed together, made the stay quite uncomfortable as the beds were separating the whole night :(
