I grew up in West London, not the best place in the world with a busy airport as neighbours, but my faith has been restored with spending a night at The Cottage for a family gathering at Concorde Club across the road. We were stunned by the security, the welcome, the garden, the rooms are big the bathrooms lovely and... More

We stayed here one night. Slept poorly, the bed was extremely hard and not large, but that might suit some people. The place was clean and tidy, tiny suggestion that there might have been dampness behind the washbasin, one of a row of little cottages in the back garden of the house, with plenty of space for children to run about.... We stayed one night to fit in with an early morning flight. Quiet and clean. Cheerful and friendly staff, close to Heathrow Airport, early morning check outs no problem with ample parking. Easy access to public transport and a short drive to Windsor castle.

We stayed one night as we were visiting BBC studios at Teddington, 7 miles away. The surrounding area is rather rundown, but the guest house itself is set back from the busy road and is pleasantly situated. The manager was helpful and friendly. The family room was fairly spacious (apart from tiny bathroom!) and there was a double and 2... More

Stayed one night to fit airline schedule, and this place seemed to be the best combination of lower price/easy access to Heathrow. I found it to be clean, quite comfortable and adequate for my purpose. Breakfast was adequate, nothing grand, but adequate. Bit surprised when the taxi I asked them to order for me turned up to be a minicab,... More

We stayed overnight in this small guest house prior to departure from Heathrow. The manager was very welcoming and we had a peaceful nights sleep even though we were fairly close to the airport. The room was small but comfortable and clean. There is no dining room but we were directed to a nearby pub where we had a reasonably... More

The rooms are clean, and the staff professional and reasonably friendly. Our family room (no. 5) had a double bed and two singles, large enough for all four of us. We slept well enough, on comfortable beds with no significant noise from outside. There was a coffeemaker in our room, with biscuits (in the English sense). The rooms are laid... More

We stayed for one night due to attending a last minute convention at the Park Inn at Heathrow. I'd booked via Booking.com and had also emailed to advise roughly what time we'd be arriving. On arrival the manager upgraded us to the deluxe room at no extra charge. Not that we'd asked but that was nice. It was a nice... More

Had three nights and negotiated the dual bus/underground travel into London on two of the days, basically we had chosen Cottage Guest House to be close to where we picked up the hire car on the 3rd day! All was good, Manager very obliging and helpful, Ladies in breakfast room were great and selection for breakfast was good. Ambiance is... More

Booked this place for one night near Heathrow. Secure parking was a plus, but the facility was tired. The garden area was lovely and everything was clean and functional. For one night it was good, but a bit tight and furnishings a bit tired if you were staying for a longer time period. Breakfast was ok, though ordering was difficult... More
