The catering, facilities staff and wedding staff could not be better. Professional, accommodating, helpful, friendly. The food at the vent was the best I've had at a large party/wedding. Now, the rooms: BE WARNED - overpriced, mouldy, NO HEAT after 12 midnight. The wedding couple tried to use the fancy jacuzzi in the other (remodeled) wing, but couldn;t because of... more

A nicer hotel would be hard to find. My 4 colleagues and myself have stayed here for 4 weeks and eaten here every day, the food has been an absolute joy to eat. Brandon and his staff have gone out of their way to ensure our stay has been enjoyable, which it has. Many thanks for the use of the... more

I just wanted to let you know that our day was a great success on Saturday and many thanks to all your wonderful staff for looking after us so well. The food was brilliant and the staff were so attentive to our requirements. They had set up the room beautifully and were unobtrusively efficient when doing their job. Please pass... more

I stayed at Burnhouse Manor on the 14th March, I was attending a charity event that was held in the hotel. The event could not have run any smoother and the staff were excellent. We had a buffet on the night which was really good value for money. The hotel is beautiful inside and out and a number of rooms... more

When checking in we were greeted by really friendly staff who offered to help us with our bags and everything! The room was large and ensuite and had great views of the gardens etc The wedding was a great success and... more

Stayed there because I attended wedding there. The downstairs reception rooms are fine, dining room very nice, food average, basic stuff but well cooked and presented. The hotel rooms were however a different story. Looked like they had last been redone in 1970s and not touched since. Very shabby and the mattress on the bed felt like it had been... more

We stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding party with other friends too. We had a agreed we were ok to share a bathroom - we did not know this meant across a public landing, no toilet rolls, no bathmat - wet tissues stuck on the ceiling to go with the spider and fly nests and general unclean... more

We stayed in this hotel because we were part of a wedding party. Our stay was marred with problems from start to finish. Firstly, despite having booked the hotel some 6 months previously, when we arrived we were shown to a twin room and not the double we requested. After being asked if we were sure that we'd need a... more
