weve stayed here as a family a few times when we come visiting friends, anyone thinking of staying here would be wise to book in advance as the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is gorgous, situated in its own grounds you can sit outside on a night in a very tranquil setting with local amenities near by. you... My daughter and I stayed at The Cottage for the Easter weekend while attending the WEC at nearby Silverstone. This is the third time I have been Derek & Lynnette's guests and I now feel like a family friend. We stayed in the twin garden room and had everything we needed, lovely cosy duvets, fabulous double headed shower, complementary tea,... More

I spent 4 months just during the weekdays here. On the whole it was pretty good. A couple of niggling problems such as they tried charging extra for WiFi after I'd arrived and the WiFi signal is very poor. The room was double booked once at short notice so was forced to take a more expensive room. Credit Card was... More

I am disappointed about the comments as I do not think the guest gave a true picture. The mere fact that he stayed for 4 months before finding fault says it all. We do not take any payment from cards without permission and in this case we had written authority to take payments on the occasions that the guest checked... More

I stayed here for two nights every week for about a year. Everything was top class from the room comfort to breakfast. High attention to detail all done with love. I would consider the owners my friends now and would recommend this wonderful boutique haven to anyone.

We are writing to say, a sincere thank you for a very special time spent at The Cottage, over last weekend. Everything was excellent and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The weather could have been a bit kinder but the Hospitality, accommodation and breakfasts were first class. It was great to spend some time in Brackley. Dereck and Lynnette were fantastic... More

Thanks to Derek and Lynette for a peaceful relaxing stay. The cottage is a lovely setting, so close to the town centre yet in its own oasis of a country setting. The garden room was ideal and you have catered for everything. A comfortable bed and pillows, complimentary tea, coffee, water - even sweets. Nice bathroom soaps. And the breakfasts... More

I used The Cottage as a one night stop-over during my drive to the south coast, and on the return trip. The facilities at this charming bed and breakfast accommodation are as good as you'd find at any four star hotel! At home I have an expensive memory foam mattress, and sleeping away is often quite disappointing - but not... More

First class B&B accommodation - superb facilites - like home from home. We stayed in 'The Office' - one of the beautiful cabin style rooms with en suite, set in their wonderful garden. Everything catered for - complimentary wine, beers and cakes. Breakfast was excellent, superbly cooked using all local produce, and eggs from the lovely chickens in their garden.... More

We booked for the bike racing at Silverstone, We weren't sure at the time but when we got there Lynette made us very welcome, the rooms I can only describe as very high quality wooden chalet type ensuite bedrooms, the rooms are finished to a very high quality and spotless, each room has it's own unique theme, we stayed in... Derek & Lynette have a little gem here, hidden in a housing estate but you really would not know that when you are there. It is exactly what it says, a cottage, which means the rooms are bijou but have lovely wooden doors. Derek is a very attentive host and Lynette cooks a superb breakfast; nothing seems to be too...
