I had read a number of articles about this hotel before travelling and thought that some of the negative comments may possibly be unjustified. We gave ourselves a couple of indulgent days at Mt Lofty House. This really is a lovely place. Had our wedding ceremony and reception at the hotel and all confirmed guests rooms were cancelled the day before although they were booked a year in advance.
