Really enjoyed our stay at the bay view b&b. Coffee and biscuits on arrival and a great room with a sea view and a Comfortable king size bed with crisp clean sheets! Couldn't hear any of the other rooms either. Walked to saeton on Saturday and branscombe on Sunday . Sunday was far the superior walk with huge views!! Breakfast... More

We stayed in the Sunnynook suite. We were able to book a mid-week break in high season. Bedroom and lounge all spacious, clean and comfortable. The use of a lounge was especially useful, as the sun didn't show itself much at all unfortunately. Location is perfect, parking not a problem, as a parking voucher is given out on arrival. The... We stayed for one night in room 1, which had a harbour view if you sat on the windowsill. The room and the en suite were lovely and possibly the cleanest I've ever stayed in! Breakfast was excellent (if a bit early!), all the staff and owner were friendly and helpful. The coffee is great! The cafe is also recommended... More

This year I have regularly visited Beer and always admired this pretty guest house when walking past it to the beach so decided to stay there overnight. I stayed in room 2 which doesn't have a sea view but is beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. The shared lounge was very pretty and had a book shelf with a good selection... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and am absolutely certain we will return in the future. Our room (room 3) was lovely - a view of the sunny beach, the smell of the sea and the most comfy bed I had slept in for ages!! Sadly the thermostat in our shower had broken the day we were due to arrive... More

A day visit to Beer turned into an overnight stay. Beautiful weather and blue skies were to be enjoyed further as we rang the bell at Bay View and were delighted to be told they had double room for the night. This, we discovered, was bright, spotlessly clean, very welcoming with an excellent en-suite. Everything about Bay View is just... More

Excellent B&B in Beer. Hard to fault, glorious location and great value. Only slight inconvenience is that parking (free) was a couple of minutes away, though it was possible to park by the door to load/unload luggage. The breakfast room doubles as a café for the rest of the day, and has a nice gift shop alongside. When we visited,... More

The guest house was very clean and the staff welcoming. The room we had was room 3 this was very clean had all you need, but small if you put anything on the floor you could have fallen over. Breakfast was lovely however you had to order everything even your choice of sauces and jams each were served in a... More

This is a very comfortable place to stay with wonderful sea views in an unspoilt Devon village. Exceptionally clean and excellent breakfast. You are welcomed by the offer of a cream tea. Highly recommended.
