We stayed here for a long weekend, room was spotless, tea and coffee on tap with biscuits, the breakfast selection was fantastic with a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and fruit juices and of course the full English, which was more like a mixed grill at a top restaurant served by Dave and cooked by Wendy, Dave was very helpful... Arrived back from a 5star stay at colebrooke house in may.We were made very welcome on arrival by Wendy and Dave . They showed us to room 6, at the front. The room was decorated to a very high standard, with all the extras you would expect of 4star B & B ( tea, coffee. flat tv, etc). The breakfast... More

We stayed here for a short break in June. it is a lovely place to stay. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were really great with a large variety of options avalable. The location is walking distance to the sea and a great starting point for exploring the Jurassic coast. the owners are friendly and accommodating to... More

We've stayed here several times and have really enjoyed every visit! Dave and Wendy even manage to organise the weather! Beer is the ideal base for exploring the area either by foot, car or with the excellent local bus services.

We stayed two nights in Colebrooke. Lovely relaxed, clean comfortable and quiet accommodation. Delicious breakfasts. Would definitely stay again. Great location just a stroll to the beach, pubs and interesting wee shops. Friendly hosts, we enjoyed our stay.

I recommend staying here. We stayed here for three nights in June 2015, Dave, one of the owners, was helpful on arrival and gave us a parking voucher and helped unload bags (double yellow lines meant no parking immediately outside). The central car park is close, perhaps a five minute walk, and is included in the price you pay for... More

We stayed here for 2 nights - rooms were well decorated, nicely kept and very clean. Dave and Wendy were very attentive hosts and keen to share their local knowledge. Great breakfast served every morning - would recommend

We are regular visitors to this Guest House/hotel and simply cannot fault it. The welcome is complete and genuine, and Dave (who does most of the "front of house") would get on with anyone. He is a font of knowledge on local attractions and the area itself. Wendy does join in when she has the time, and does make a... More

Colebrooke House is a distinctive looking property in the main street of beautiful Beer. Welcoming entrance hall where Wi-Fi connection is at its best and lovely fresh flowers adorn. A good selection of magazines and jig-saws to borrow as well as plenty of tourist information. We stayed in room 6, at the front of the house, with large windows with... More
