Visited for lunch on a dreary day. Warm and cosy pub with a warm welcome and excellent service. Food was fresh and well cooked and presented. Good local beers too. Sorry to have to go back out into the cold.

This is a little gem of a country pub and perfect for Sunday lunch. I suspect the reason it keeps getting our repeat trade because it is dog friendly (as all good country pubs should be!). We're able to eat in the bar, and my dog is able to stretch out in front of the fire after a long walk.... More

Stayed for one night in October, such a nice warm welcome, we arrived late but were still offered dinner which was really good I had the famous Sticky Beef with braised Red Cabbage, it was soooo good. We stayed in The Right Room which was large and comfortable with a great shower! Breakfast was Yummy too!

Very nice country pub with excellent food. In particular I like their Sausage in a bagette. The pub is also close by to a fishing lake which makes a pleasant drive to the pub. They also keep a very nice bitter called I think Potters it is only 3.8% which is helpful for drivers.

Spacious room and very clean. There are two rooms adjoined to the pub yet it was a quiet environment. We did not stay on a weekend. Good for an one night stay. Staff friendly. Dean the owner was keen to make us comfortable and tend to our needs.

I lunched here today. There was some trepidation after reading some reviews but I enjoyed the experience. It's a pleasant inn, there are friendly staff ,the service was prompt and the food was excellent. On recommendations I choose the sticky beef which was as good as everyone has said. I can only say I will call again.......no better recommendation in my... More

Fish finger butty just a must! Never had a bad meal here however can totally empathise with some of the reviews. Waiting for meals some being rather pricey for what is served. My partner is a top end chef and so we would not visit here for an evenin meal however well worth a visit after a dog walk round... More

We recently stayed in Crockerton and then Centre Parcs at Longleat so we visited the Bath Arms on two separate occasions and found the food to be a very hight standard. There isn't loads to choose from on the menu which I like because it usually means home cooked food and this is what we got. Can thoroughly recommend the... More

We had a meal at the Bath Arms on Friday evening, there were 5 adults and two children, so a fairly large party. We tried to sit down at a large free table but were hustled away by the very officious restaurant manager to the bar to get drinks, whilst he put napkins on the table. Not the easiest thing... More
