This is a unique place. Stunningly beautiful. On a lake. Excellent for birding, walking or just de stressing and relaxing. Quite difficult to find, but well worth the effort. This is a unique place, in a remote spot where birdsong is the only sound. The rooms are cosy, the breakfasts excellent - such lovely cheeses and ham, so many breads, cereal, fruit - and Daniela produces delicious evening meals which you eat round a large table with the family and the other guests. We intended to go walking from the Quinta for our 3 days spent there. However, once we had encountered Frank we hastily changed our plans and asked him to take us out the next day.
