We have stayed at Mana Nui Inn for two nights but it was a great experience for us. This small family resort is a real gem in Hanga Roa area. Patricia an Bicky are doing the best to make people feel like home. From the very first moment when you are picked up from the airport with flower necklaces until... More

Nice property, family run business, waited a little while before daughter picked us up from the airport, and gave us a brief explanation of the sites along the way! Hotel/cabins was small and quaint, a good walking distance from the main street, Cabins are small with the minimum, bed, old tv which had no reception at all, and bathroom. But who... More

This place was the one picked by the travel company, so I read of the robbery stories before going there. I made a point of locking the sliding glass door AND putting a walking stick in the door for added protection (mostly visual, but still). Woke up the second morning to the sound of waves and was amazed how loud... More

Mana Nui Inn is one of a typical family run guest houses on Easter Island located approx, 15 minute walk to the centre of Hanga Roa.with some nice views to the ocean and close to the Tahai moai site. The accommodation of Mana Nui consists of various cabins build around the main house which is used as the office and... More

First, I have to say, Easter Island is an unbelievable experience. If you get a chance to go, do it! As far as Mana Nui Inn. I was picked up promptly at the airport. Most, if not all hotels in EI offer this convenience. The hotel is located slightly out of town. Maybe a 10-15 min walk to shops. It... More

I could write two distinct reviews on this hotel: one pre-robbery and the next post-robbery. I was fortunate that my room was spared of the night robberies. The morning after the robbery, the owner Bicky rushed out of the indoor kitchen as she saw me talking to the victims from England who were telling me about the occurrence. She proceeded... More

Five day stay was dominated by one unfortunate event. Although we were warned not to leave doors and windows open while out, nothing was said about nights. All four occupied cabins left the sliding window slightly open while sleeping one humid night, when the temperature was over 20 degrees without air-con, and three of us were burgled by a silent... Like most accommodation on the Island, this is a family run venture, they pick you up from the airport and make recommendations to take tours etc through their connections. We organised all these ourselves for much cheaper. But that is Easter Island, tourists come to an isolated island to look at the wonders, the locals provide the key to these... More

I absolutely fell in love with this island. Based on many reviews I was hesitant on how many days to stay not knowing what to expect, but definitely it was the simplicity and genuine feel of the people that made it all much better. The hotel staff were very welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect to what I was... More
