A good location, rooms are very basic (not even sure there was a TV - but didn't bother me as I never watch TV). There is internet though it was down for part of my visit. Despite what some reviews say, I found the staff did not speak English save one person who had basic knowledge - anyway, English is... More

Located walking distance from the main drag, this hostal is owned and operated by a lovely woman and her family. They have a beautiful garden and lovely greenhouse on property. Breakfast is plucked from the garden. The cabins are basic. Bring mosquito netting if you plan to open the windows, no screens. They will arrange any tour or rental you... More

I stayed nearly 3 weeks at Cabanas Keu Henua and was very happy there. The service was friendly and helpful; Tavake's English is excellent and her advice was always spot on. I appreciated the airport pickup and dropoff. My room was spacious with very comfortable beds and my own bathroom and fridge. Location is great, just a few minutes walk... More

We ended up staying here after we were let down badly by Sunset cottages, who I would strongly advise to avoid at all costs by the way. Took our money months in advance, confirmed the booking was ok when we checked 3 days prior to arrival and then by phone not even in person, at the airport we were told... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a family business in Easter Island built on the values given by our ancestors: the love of Rapa Nui, the dedication to the work and pride to our roots. Our main objective is to offer to tourists a relaxing space with nature in attending to their accommodation needs, while it encourages and guides to explore the island and its most amazing places, always with caution and respect for this World Heritage of Humanity. We seek and work in environmental systems that help to protect natural heritage and reduce the cumulative impact of humans on Easter Island. We participate in, and support, sports and cultural activities in order to rescue and promote the Rapa Nui customs. In Keu Henua we work with a new concept Tourist Agritourism. The idea primarily is to provide agricultural products of ethnic Rapa Nui to our guests using the same techniques that were used by our ancestors, as are the Manavai. In the custom of the islanders agricultural products like banana tree, sweet potato and taro, among others, were passed from generation to generation. We are thrilled that today's agricultural products are without intervention and in direct line with those planted in ancient times ... more   less
