Extremely comfortable room, useful kitchenette. Difficult to find the road (pay attention to the directions), but a great location; close to Chateauneuf du Pape and other southern Rhone appelations. Beautiful setting. Quiet and private; available washing machine!! Charles and Andrée were excellent hosts---very helpful, but totally unobtrusive. A great place to relax and/or explore the region. Looking forward to a... More

Charles and Andre warmly welcomed us (June 2012 and 2013) into the peaceful and idyllic setting of their stone farmhouse, amidst Andre’s flowers. My husband and I stayed in the comfortable and quiet apartment called “Mistral”, which overlooks the garden. After a day of visiting the colorful local markets and villages, which they expertly recommended, it was lovely relaxing under... More

We had a fantastic week at Mas du Clos once we found the place! It's tucked away off the main road and consists of a lovely house with attached buildings. The garden was gorgeous, especially when you're ready for a bit of shade, the dogs very friendly, the owners Charles and Andree extremely helpful, and the accomodation very comfortable and... More

So pleasant to read your review ! Merci beaucoup for your kindness. Regarding your comment about the lack of a BBQ, I would like to inform that in summer in Provence, fires and BBQs are prohibited (according to areas and local regulations). We are not allowed in Jonquières and though many people don't respect this rule, we don't want to... More

We have just returned from a week in Provence at this superb location. Our stay was made all the more special by Charles and Andrée who are the perfect hosts. Their Mas is set in the most beautiful setting, with vineyards, mountain views, and a stunning garden. Our apartment was full of Provencial charm, with everything we needed for a... More

My husband and I, together with another couple, celebrated our 25th anniversary in Provence. Our five-day stay at l'Escarrat could not have been more enjoyable. The setting was quiet and relaxing, and the gardens beautiful. The room was quaint, clean and everything we needed. (The dogs and cat were also a welcome compliment to the stay, as they reminded us... More

We stayed at Mas du Clos de l'Escarrat from 12th to 20th June 2013. Everything was perfect. We had gone with high expectations having read the tripadvisor reviews, but the stay surpassed our expectations. The room was ideal, and we spent the end of the day sat on the balcony, enjoying the view over Mont Ventoux. Charles and Andree made... More

I had high hopes for Mas de Clos as all the reviews on here were amazing... and I wasn't disappointed. We spent a very nice week in the Mistral apartment.
