Loveley hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Great to have the swimming pool and use of outside kitchen and garden. Very relaxing. Rural surroundings close to local towns and amenities. Good beaches and coastline about 20mins away.

Maggie and Dave are so kind and helpful. We felt really welcome here, and yet never disturbed . Our beds were very comfy and also clean. Pool is lovely and also clean. We enjoyed breakfast very much. It's a great spot for a base to see all there is to see and we also Lund great local places to eat. Cant... More

We spent 9 days at La Fata Turchina and had a wonderful time. The children enjoyed the pool, the WiFi and the trampoline and archery. The adults enjoyed the wonderful garden, the birds and great wine (the Negroamara from The Masseria was wonderful). Maggie and Dave were very helpful and welcoming. The house is a great base from which to... More

We stayed at La Fata Turchina for 2 weeks in August. We had the rooms on a self catering basis but with the benefit that Maggie and Dave were still on hand. The rooms are clean and cool. The garden is amazing (fresh figs every day!) and safe and has a great area for games which is shaded. Its very... More

Maggie and Dave's little hideaway was a fabulous place to explore Puglia - particularly if you have kids in tow. Allow extra time to arrive there- look out for the pizza factory on the left, then the stone wall on the right, then 1km up a narrow laneway till you see a blue gate on the left. Overall it was... As other people have said in their reviews, Dave and Maggie and their daughter Leeann couldn't make you feel more welcome. The rooms are clean, private and cool. Lovely pool and sun loungers to relax in a beautiful garden. The outside kitchen is a great idea, as it means that you can cook if you don't want go out to... More

We have just returned from 2 weeks at La Fata Turchina with another family. Clean (and mercifully, cool) rooms, a gorgeous pool in an idyllic setting and incredibly helpful and generous hosts. Maggie and Dave couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and help out in every possible way without being in the least bit intrusive. It's a... More

We have had a lovely 2 weeks at La Fata Turchina. Maggie & Dave couldn't be more helpful and welcoming, even entertaining our children! The website does not mention the trampoline, archery, badminton and boules that are available when the children tire of the pool, and which are, crucially, in the shade. The pool is perfect for swimming or messing... More

This was a really special villa situated in a great area, close to beaches and cities. We were a group of 10 friends from all over the world, and Maggie our "house mother" was truly amazing, she made our stay that much more special. I hope that we can go back to visit someday!
